I appreciate AdorableRose's input. But to be clear I advise that only when I'm reaching out to a complete unknown. It's after I've done all my homework and can't find reviews or other known history on a woman. Especially when the pictures in the ad look like a model.

Asking 20 questions, requesting a confirmation pic, etc from a well known & reviewed provider is a definite faux pa and highly discouraged. I've posted all that in the New Member Guide a number of different times on how to contact a provider without her ignoring you.

And while some real providers may not send a face selfie, many, I mean a vast majority of legit providers will upon request. I understand Roses concern, but this advice is for Mongers to avoid getting scammed or time wasted. I can see both sides of this debate. You can't say with certainty that "we're not out here asking for selfies with a face photo. " You can only speak to what you, yourself ask for. Rose, on the other hand, knows full well what mongers are asking her for. I suspect the lies somewhere in the middle. Honestly, other than their pics being a little on the "To Good To Be True" side, I actually wouldn't immediately call them fakes, at least the first and last one. I doubt you'd get the bombshells in those pictures coming to the door, but I don't think it would hurt to go down the rabbit hole, with some heavy caution and an exit strategy.

Usually, easiest ways I've found to weed out fakes is to.

First: Check the phone number. Any area code that starts with a 7 or 9 is an immediate hard pass for me, and anything that isn't a well known area code for the city / nearby cities (eg. 616 or 231) is usually met with extreme skepticism.

Second: Reverse image search the pics. Not every one of them will come up with something (which can be a red flag on its own), but sometimes you'll find results from either porn sites (which ends the search right there. Even if the ad is real, I wouldn't waste my time with that level of catfishing) or stg ads from different cities. Not to say that these women can't travel, which some do, but if there's at least 3 different cities from wildly different parts of the country and no mention in any of them that she's only staying for a short time, then it's probably a safe bet she's fake.

Of course, searching these forums for first hand accounts can supersede either of those steps, but if there's nothing found otherwise, I generally use the above to make the best guesses on who's fake and who's making a post about.

So the first thing is check the photo, 1, and 3 seemed to be potentially real, with local postings only on google photo, 2 has posting in Chek language sites, so probably fake. 1 and 3 both have Michigan phone numbers so again potentially real. So call and / or text to see what happens. If they respond with a deposit, probably fake, if not Toftt. Let us know.

Meanwhile I also would be interested in how he found out they were fake.
