Guys sadly life spa or whatever they were going by on water at Quincy st is Closed Permanently according to a sign on the door. Always had decent time and luck there.

Can't say that I'm Sad! Saw some Posts and even a PM on success. Tried twice and not even a HJ. Place could have used a Refresh on Interior anyways.

Yes I looked there too. Not knowing what business name they use it is hard to tell which are the relevant ones. So I looked at every Watertown shop and did not see anything obvious about revoked licenses that seemed to fit. It's a mystery.

Would they be listed still if their licenses were revoked?

Agreed. There is one thing in the police dispatch logs for Waverly on 6/23 - for "Assist Other Agency". Nothing in the arrest log for that time frame, so if there were any arrests, they weren't from WPD.

I also did a drive-by. The lights inside were on, but the "OPEN" sign was off.

I actually just found a way to query the MA database for licenses -- https://www.mass.gov/how-to/check-a-...sional-license.

You can provide even minimal criteria. Like zip code, part of a name. And look at or download a list of all licensees, past and current. For instance, Orange Tree Wellness (what 220 used to be) expired 6/27/2017. There are no addresses, however, only business name or person's name (for solo licensees), so would need to know how the place was licensed to discover if the license was current. I confirmed info using the name of an MT I know; she owns a shop but apparently the shop isn't licensed as a multiple therapist facility, she is licensed as a solo therapist, so listed under her residence city vs shop city.

The media loves to plaster reports of prostitution busts all over the place. So probably not that without anything showing up.

Possible. I can't find anything on-line news reports indicating police activity. Last bust shown in my google search occurred in 2019. May have been local health department shutdown. Those don't tend to be reported in the news.
