Actually I feel very badly for the girls. Most of them I have met are very nice and trying to support their local and China families.

I am sure they will survive but it has to be very disruptive for them and the ownwer (s) as well.

A couple weeks ago the twtwtw post, resulted in a couple dm's inquiring about why I had not mentioned 235 Walnut. Those dm's got me thinking that I should give that place a visit. I had not been there for over a year I believe. Well I guess this report will provide the reasons for not having gone there that week.

I, too, have stopped going here. I got upsold the last time, but like you I didn't fall for it. I wonder if the papa-san who used to run it sold the place off? He was actually a great owner, and made sure his providers didn't short people on time or haggle. I had been going to FBW since before they moved to Walnut (from Franklin St), and eventually he definitely recognized me and would make sure to tell the girl I was regular. I have to imagine that their downward spiral is because he's not running the place anymore.

I'm about equi-distant between Waltham and Framingham, so my go-to has been Clock City recently since there's nothing spectacular in F'ham these days. Sad.
