At one stage, I thought this could be useful. I located a vendor who alleged to be in Canada who would produce such. I might have even found it on the dark web, directed to it by a worthy on this site. Anyway it turned out to be a scam. You want to keep your real identity secret from the person making the fake I'd card, right? I purchased I think a $50 postal money order (then, you could do that for Canada. At this time, the USPS does not do Canada). I mailed it off and uploaded a real photo and some fake information. I never heard from them again.

It could really be handy to check into a hotel w / a fake name. However, they not only require your DL, but also a credit card. Prepaid debit cards aren't accepted. A debit card with your name on it would be, but then that's not going to match the fake identification. I must admit, many desk clerks do not check these things rigorously, you could get away with murder. Or not. All you need is some enthusiastic jerk who figures out your frequent stay number and matches up your account.

My approach to hotels, on the rare occasion that I got a room myself rather than having my sugar baby do it, is to use a perversion of my real name. Say, my middle name instead of the first name, and a misspelled last name. It is amazing how that turns out to not be easily traceable to yourself. In fact, I watched my SB do exactly this, and it took me some time to figure out her real name despite the fact that what she had checked in under was displayed on the TV in the room.

At most hotels I have been at, the hold against the credit card will be reversed (after a few days) if you pay the bill in cash on checkout. It does not show up on your credit card statement, even. That is functionally fake identification.

Thanks. This is one thing I suspected. That many of the sites advertising fake IDs are fakes / frauds themselves, maybe even honeypots.

I too have been hobbying for almost 20 years and never once provided my personal information. I don't get why mongers are willing, considering and giving personal information to see any provider.
