There are still some solid providers in CC it seems. I want to check out Lucy. The cameras and raids have kept me away, but I'm itching to go back. That said, I don't really want to park in that garage anymore. Seems safer to just walk in. Does anyone have any good alternative parking spots? I don't quite understand the paranoia of parking in the CC garage. I've parked in that garage countless times over the years with no issues or worries. I'd think that one would instead be more concerned about the cameras that are now in the hallways on each floor in the building. But if you're still hesitant about parking in the garage, try street parking on Makaloa--if you're lucky enough to find a spot, depending on time of day. Or try the parking lot at Don Quixote, but I'd recommend as least walking into the store for a few minutes before taking the very short walk to the CC.

This was discussed many times in the past but I have not looked for which thread has comments about parking at CC. People have parked at don q and faked shopping. What I have done is to look for parking about a block away on the streets off of Fern street and go from there.

I agree to park outside the garage. $2 is too much money. There are lots of street parking around the neighborhood. Or you can park in the mcCully shopping center underground parking garage. Just a short walk away to CC.

I, too, have missed my visits to CC. When I first started my visits, I was super worried about parking and used to routinely park in the lower lever of Ala Moana mall and make the 3 block walk to CC. Never any problem then. Ought to work well now. Adds 20 minutes to the overall excursion time.

Have you tried right next door in that gravel lot? I use to park there when no guest stalls available. I wouldn't worry about parking in CC though. If they want you they get you. Cameras everywhere nowadays.
