I hear you, man. A couple years back, I had this one reliable SB whom I saw about once a month. Some folks here might remember Jengo / Jen from Gaithersburg? Anyway after the fourth or so meet, she told me to forget the donation & to just get a hotel room every other meet (could sometimes host) while occasionally buying lunch / dinner.
