If anyone ever tries to call you BACK, using Caller ID, on that Google Virtual Number, that call goes through the Google Voice App, and you can set that up to NOT ring on your real phone and send them to the Google Virtual "Voicemail" (also accessible through the App if you want to listen to any of those messages), thereby totally screening those calls from your real phone effortlessly.

The one "safety" precaution you might need to take is to HIDE that Google Phone App on your phone home screen... or maybe delete and re-install if you need to use it again (not sure if that will kill your set-up info).
