I'd really like to know what the SW scene on Beach was like back in the day. I'm in my 40's and remember seeing the adult theatre near Beach and La Palma (I think the current site is a skate shop) and the. 25 cent arcade also on Beach near orange wood (current site are condominiums). I even read about Voluskys theatre and an infamous kidnap / murder in the 1950's (current site is Ken Grody Ford). My father who has since passed told me a few stories about a crazy uncle and even my grandfather picking up SW's back in the 70's and 80's. What was beach like? What was the theatre scene and arcade like? What were the rates like? Did all the SWs have Bush? LOL, Any info what be great.

It is good to hear that the action is finally picking up again. It is best use due caution. LE will start cracking down if they have not already. I actually do drive by that way but it's usually at the end of my night when I'm done cruising first street and just heading over to that 24 hour CVS. I've never seen action around there before. Either it's very new, or it was just a fluke and the girls just happened to be there that one time.

Harbor is very long and busy street with plenty of places for the girls to work. The apartments played little if any role in reduction of SW's on Harbor blvd. The main reason is because the girls chose to work in such a small area. All the traffic & girls upset a lot of the locals.
