So I'm no stranger to AMPs. Been going to them off an on for 20 years. Kyoto back in the day was the place. Use to frequent a few spots in DC before they cracked down. So after many hit and misses over the years in VA and moco I usually saved my money for the pg spots. Normally greenbelt. Always left happy. However after a while of dormancy and reading all the reviews for RL I decided while driving thru the area to take a swing. Probably one of the worst AMP experiences I've had. Get in, I'm greeted by what looks like mms, you know 55 wrinkley under arm fat a little over weight and overly nice. Takes my temp, takes me to room, tells me the fee, I pay, and she asks if I want a shower and I say yes. So she leaves and I'm thinking she's going to go get one of the girls to come in. Nope. She comes back with me to the shower. The only reason I didn't leave was thinking maybe they are testing me and will send in a girl after grandma washes the Mr and gives them the ok. Nope. She is the girl. I let her rub my back for ten minutes while she chomped gum in my ear and elbowed me repeatedly in my chin while acting like she was rubbing my shoulders. When she said flip I jumped up and said I'm good thank you, gave her 20 and left. I'll take what I read here with a grain of salt from this point forward.

I was also a regular at Kyoto on and off from 2002 until it closed in 2014. I remember Sunny, Amy, and Cherry. Those were good times at Kyoto. After Kyoto closed I started to go to RL in Laurel in 2013. During 2013 and 2014 they had young good looking girls that were no fun at all. All I got at RL from 2013 to 2014 with young hot girls was a HJ. Then I decided to go to other AMPs in the area and found that they were so so. In December 2016 I went back to RL and received a pleasant surprise. The MMSN selected a hot looking girl to take care of me. From that moment on I was hooked at RL. Ever since December 2016 I've always been treated good at RL.

The most important thing for me is the overall experience and to have a good time. I've always got that at RL. I don't care about how the lady looks what I care the most is her personality. Many times the ladies that don't look like a Miss Universe are the ones that are the most fun. According to your description I'm sure of who took care of you. I'm not going to mention her name but she's one of the best providers that I've had in my life. I've been going to AMPs in this area for more than 20 years. If you would have stayed after the flip you would have experienced probably one of the best BBBJs of your life. That lady provides one of the best BBBJs that I've ever had. Good luck and stay safe.

I have said it before and said it in the rant and rave thread Trav's review was moved too, but I will repeat it here so everyone sees it. RL is definitely not everyone's cup of tea. Trav thinks Julie is over 50, but I think she is late 40's. I will admit to being terrible at guessing the ages of Asian women. It you want a spinner and / or a younger woman, RL is not for you. All the RL ladies are older. Except for Bonnie who is new, all RL ladies are thick. I personally like older ladies and thick ladies. Many if not most RL regulars are older. As I am in my middle 60's, I would consider Julie younger even if she or the other RL ladies are in there early 50's. Even though RL ladies may not be beauty queens, I still find them attractive. You can have your opinion and I can have mine. It is the same way some guys want a lady with a huge ass, but I do not like ladies with huge asses. We each have our preferences.

I personally have ED issues. I take vitamin C (cialis) the evening before I plan to go to RL. I know a number of RL regulars also have ED issues. Other RL regulars have sensitivity issues which make it hard for them to pop. There are also RL regulars that have both issues. Ladies who get upset with your issue only make it worse. Many times vitamin C works great and I have no issues. For the times when junior wants to act up, it is great to have kind caring lady that will help me work through my issues. I have never had a RL lady get upset when I have issue. They want you to enjoy your session, so RL ladies really try to help you when you have an issue to make sure you enjoy your session as best you can. I will apologize that some of you do not agree with our assessment of a RL lady's looks. When you get our age and start having issues, you will most likely see a kind lady that helps you enjoy yourself with rose colored glasses.

Even if I did not have ED issues sometimes, I would still most likely be a RL regular. RL ladies take very good care of their regulars. They treat you more like a friend who is getting benefits than just another customer. First Angie and then Michelle hooked me many years ago. Angie was thinner than I like. Angie was however one of those incredibly nice ladies that was just so much fun to be around. I have stated my times I do not like implants. I overlooked the fact that Michelle had implants. All my sessions were Michelle were about as close to GFE as you are going to get at an AMP which more than made up for the fact that she had implants. With rare exceptions I just prefer the way I am treated at RL. If RL is not your cup of tea, I have no problem with that. I will however not be surprised if you eventually become a RL regular like me when you get older particularly if you have some ED or sensitivity issues.

I posted my unbiased RL review and got moved to a new thread named "Rants and Stupid shit in Prince Georges County". It is what it is but I wish that did not happened. But you did the right thing by leaving. I wish I did also. MANY of the posters that loved this place are retired and / or have ED issues. They admitted to it as much and I give them credit for warning us the providers are older. I would say the one I had was definitely over 50++ with a undesirable body shape. I was like you, I got taken in by those posts that made RL sound like the best AMP in Maryland.

So let me say again, if you are looking for ladies similar to ones at VIP or RS, then RL is not for you!! If you like older providers and maybe have ED issues and like to spend LOTS of money for the long relationship game, then go to RL as those ladies never leave.

I was in the big apple recently and went to 98 Mott. I spent $80 and had a fantastic time with BBBJ and CFS. I did not want a wash or massage or a relationship, just a good time. And the lady was decent looking. Looking forward to go back again.

With all the reviews here that specifically name and describe the providers why didn't you simply request one that has been favourably reviewed?

Planning on visiting this week. Haven't been there since last year when I had a dream about apple at VIP. Looking to book again soon but would like some recommendations on your favorites. Me I would personally prefer someone in their 20's who are "friendly". Hell if you know any indys I'd be ok with that too. You can pm me if you want. Thank as always guys.

What some may fail to consider, while grousing about my comments, is how mongers make their choices based on what they read here. Almost nNobody with more than two brain cells reads Joe Blows report and takes it 100% on face value. When researching and reading reports, we look for reports that are similar to our own experiences with the same spa and lady. If we experience the same lady in the same way, we have similar values (we like the same kind of cars, to use that analogy), and the opinions of those with whom we share the same values holds more weight.

We also look at context. That same monger with more than two brains cells is more than capable of reading the favorable reports on VIP and RL, and then looking at my comment where I CLEARLY state I haven't been in some time, and then come to the conclusion that they do or do not wish to give it a go. If they go and have an experience similar to mine, they have a data point. If they have a great time, they can ignore my comments.

As for RL, there is still a culture of rewarding the regulars, which is fine. It's their model and there might even be some modest rationale for it. Anyone who has been reading here for a while knows why the regulars at RL are so devoted. A newbie walking into RL may very well get less service out of the gate than in a Greenbelt spa.

However, let's be honest about the spas. They are not run by the MMS, though she has a big impact on the day-to-day operations. What ladies are brought in, and the policies and tone are set above the MMS's pay grade. I have gone to Spa 21/ Rainbow / Silk, in Jessup, off and on for 25-30 years, and services have never changed there. In all that time I had ONE lady give me service that was different from their standard (fake / simulated) schtick. Most spas don't change their stripes much unless something dramatic happens.

Anyone is welcome to take exception to my pontifications, and a healthy debate is a good thing. What some have failed to point out is that in the end, I do my best to provide all the context necessary for someone to make their own informed decision.

Your information on RL is dated. With the exception of Sue, you will normally get CBJ and CFS your frist visit to RL now. Sue is shy and likes to get to know you before she opens up the menu. Regulars are rewarded with a BBBJ in place of the CBJ. From what I have read, BBBJs are rare at Greenbelt AMPs. RL ladies also allow DATY if you want to do that, but again Greenbelt ladies seem to be less inclined to allow it.

I will admit that several years ago, a HJ was normally the only option your first visit. Second visit may only get you upgraded to a BJ. It might have taken two, three or more visits to get CFS. With the exception of Sue, that is not the case anymore.

I went to Rainbow /21 Therapy in Jessup from 1998 to 2008. I had a similar experience as you did. Only ONE lady provided the full menu to me. That lady was the former MMSN of SK Therapy in Laurel. I was a regular customer of SK from 1998 until it closed in 2002. The former SK MMSN went to work at Rainbow Spa and I met her there in 2003. I was her regular customer from 2003 until 21 Therapy closed in 2008.

I went to RL Therapy in Laurel in 2013 and 2014 and all I got was a HJ. However, when I went back to RL in December 2016 it was a different story. I've been going to RL from December 2016 until the present and I've always been treated good. Yumi has been the MMSN at RL in 2013,2014 and from December 2016 until the present. IMO, what happened in 2013 and 2014 was that I only went there 3 times in 2013 and one time in 2014. That means that I was not considered a regular then. I'm sure that Yumi gave instructions to the girls when I went back in December 2016 to give me the royal treatment. Lucky me. Like they say the rest is history. Good luck and stay safe.

I enjoy reading all of the different viewpoints. I personally have used BMoreDog69 reports many times over the years. His comments are always accurate.

Like car manufacturers each spa has their loyal fan base. But there is room for discussion about all of them. Wouldn't it be boring if we were all jeep fans. Using a car example which has a fanatical fan base but I hate driving them and will never own one.

Now I'm confused because I was there at 11 am on 5/28 and mama told me I was the very first customer of hers and said please treat Cindy right and again said you very first customer of hers. I said ok. I could tell she was nervous at first she barely touched me in the shower but fun time she opened up a lot but anyway when leaving I asked her twice if her name was Cindy and she said yes but I don't know maybe language barrier.

When I call to ask for an appointment I'll ask for Cindy / Sandy. They'll know who I refer to. Good luck and stay safe.

If the shortest appointment is 30 minutes and most being an hour what do you expect to happen if you call 20 minutes out and all the ladies are booked? You expect some else to get cut short to fit you in? Just let it go already.

The reality is VIP ladies are about the same average age as RS. VIP judt happens to staff more ladies at any given time and rotates ladies more often so you may see more reports of a new young talent at VIP but that is still the exception, not the rule. Extremely well said. I couldn't agree more and I see that I'm not the only one thinking this. If the continuous overly repeated jabs had any truth to them it wouldn't be so bad but those accusations are complete bullshit and not even close to being accurate and now he's pissing off the RL guys too. You're so right my brother: give it a rest already. Jesus! It's not only false information but it is insulting to those of us that have made VIP or RL our go spot.

I failed to ask who else was working this week.

I used to go to VIP once in a while. Yes, the ladies were generally younger and better looking for your average AMP. The problem for me was that, more often than not, there were too many restrictions. Plus the MMS was a PITA and she wouldn't take a reservation even if I was on my way, and 20 minutes out. If I want a PYT to wash my junk, give me a lame massage, and then provided standard covered services with not much enthusiasm, then it was perfect. Sometimes I have an itch for a PYT, and I know how to get that itch scratched.

Just as I stopped going to RL a couple years ago because I refuse to have to go multiple times getting sub-standards services in order to get good service. I understand why they would want to do that, but it's not my thing.

We all have our sweet spot. It's like beers. I can enjoy what I consider a good beer. However, my beer tastes are pretty narrow, so I am not wasting my money on microbrews with fruit and chocolate, and other crap. Give me a Guiness or a good brown ale, and I am happy.
