K & Tioga is 9.2 miles from the intersection of 7th and Wolf Streets in South Philadelphia, but only 7.7 miles from the corner of 7th and State Streets in Camden. In other words, CJ's Camden haunts are 16% CLOSER to the K than South Philly.

If I were located in in the Western burbs, I'd probably head to S Phila before I went to Camden. But if I lived in, say, the Great Northeast, you bet your ass I'd be heading to Camden if I found the K to be DOA.

As most people other than the lamest shit-for-brains are aware, state and municipal boundaries are essentially arbitrary constructs. Lacking any better sort methodology (such as "all 5'11" blondes with 36D's" ), most rational people would use these boundaries as guidelines, and not a law of nature.

In other words, Camden is close by, I find value in information about anything close by, and some people have way too much time on their hands. I suggest they return those hands to where they came from, namely down their pants, and stop cluttering the board with useless tripe.

I'm not sure I understand what all the fuss is about in here. If it's a report, it goes in the report thread. If it's a photo, it goes in the photo thread. If a sw works in Philadelphia, it goes in the Philadelphia thread. If a sw works in Jersey it goes in the Jersey thread. Common sense!

Camden's Broadway and Philly's Kensington Ave are both two great strolls and they are to closely connected to be ignored. They are just a hop, skip and a jump apart; most Senior Mongers know that; I was posting for the Newbies and unaware. It is always good to have alternatives. When it is LE hot on one; try the other. When there are no SWers to be had on one; try the other. If you are out for a nice leisurely drive, try both. Both strolls are relatively new to me.

Just because I am a Senior Member, doesn’t mean I know everything.
