Almost have the identical experience. I saw her a few months ago. I texted her the night before and she texted me back around 5 am or so. I told her I was leaving and tried to stay in contact with her. Leaving text. 10 min away text. Etc. Not sure if that did it or not but I got there and only had to wait maybe 10 or 15 min which seems like a blessing when dealing with her.

You are correct. It's the post-COVID party at Uncle's Joe's house. It's runaway inflation. Fortunately, it's all temporary and when reality comes back to bite, it may bite hard enough that the worm turns more in the customer's favor than it was even before COVID.
