The thing is, and why I think they live up to their name "Cheaters", is that in addition to the $20 per dance you have to buy a $10 ticket at the bar to get into the LD area with a dancer. And that is JUST for that dancer....

...but one could believe that CH is the best bang for the buck - the break-even point is two songs when compared to clubs like Fantasies, which whacks you for 5 bucks per song. The "mileage factor" pushes CH further into the bargain category.

There are of course other cost considerations, which vary based on how lucky you are - you may incur cleaning costs to get rid of various forms of dirt and/or detritus, not commonly found at other clubs, which may have collected on items of clothing. But that's not a problem if you are as good a planner as the guy who carries his strip-club garb in the trunk of his car and lets it age.

The other aspect of lurking in the shadows at CH that makes for an interesting visit is the sense of having dodged a bullet when you leave in one piece. Where else do you have such good odds of witnessing a fight-to-the-death between two dancers? If you linger late into the evening and walk out in one piece it feels like returning from a tour of duty in Iraq with all your body-parts where they belong.

As for CH living up to its name, you gotta admit that it's the only honest club around...every one of 'em is cheating the customer in some way, veiling their greed behind names designed for suckers - "Fantasies?"..."Desire?"..."Foxy Lady?" - gimme a break! The bottom line? Hang out at the place where you have the most fun and get what you find most gratifying.

I asked the price of a topless dance instead. She said $20. I agreed. She asked for $10, which she gave the beertender. In the topless dance area, she then asked for $20. I said, I already gave you $10, but she said I misunderstood and had to give her $20. Being on vacation, I did not want to quarrel, so I ponied up the $20.

Being from Massachusetts, a day in Providence is a one-day, no nights vacation for me without my family. I have a few beers at two or three of the excellent SCs in town, spending an hour or two at each. Afterward, a fun and relaxing visit to an AMP is the perfect end to the day. Yesterday was my Providence vacation day.

Before hitting CF, I changed from my Levis and work shirt into loose sweatpants and a tee shirt. My gym bag is always in my car with a full set of workout clothes, which are perfect for visiting a SC for several reasons. First, using these clothes leaves my Levis and work shirt free of stripper perfume. Before I get home, I change at a rest stop and stuff the fragrant workout clothes back into my gym bag. One or two workouts later, during which the scent reminds me of my fun vacation, the smell is gone. (I wonder if anyone else in the gym recognizes that unmistakable stripper aroma.)

Second, most ladies would rather grind their delicate bits against sweatpants than the zipper, rivets, and belt buckle on jeans. The little General down below is much more accessible too. That Rebecca is a beautiful babe, but I've passed on her due to her above my norm rates. But I can see why see expects it. A babe who's a 4 won't asks what a 9 can and gets.

A tip for future visits - $100 plus booth fee (which is actually $45 if you haven't gotten the "Godiva ticket" prior) should get you anything on the menu.

Anything more than that is a ripoff. Back when I first did the booths I fell for the $120, $140, etc. myself - never again. If she insists on more than $100 move on, there are lots of fish in the sea, especially at Cheaters.
