I've never been banned and have had a free account for a couple of years with no problem. As far as window shopping, I do that with tryst, p411 (Yeah. I pay for that one), and all the sites that have hookers. There's plenty of reasons to cross reference SA without needing to message the chicks.

I'd guess they got tired of you freeloading. And I don't understand the utility of browsing profiles if you are never going to pay to be able to message a girl.

While strippers would not be my first (or second) choice of SB, go in like you would any type of relationship with women. Know your boundaries, what your expectations are, and act accordingly. Hollywood I think your the only one getting elite pussy for pennies on the dollar at SA. Everyone else is living in the world where these GPS chicks expect $$ for a quick roll in the hay. Almost everyone I've spoken to (who looks even remotely good and isn't AA or a pro) expects about 4 digits per date.
