A couple things to try before your next venture.

First off, ALWAYS get a verification pic before you meet anyone. Ask them to send a simple selfie standing in front of a mirror holding up something, like a piece of paper with your name on it. This will let you know what they look like realtime, as well as make sure they are legit. Pretty much every girl that was serious about meeting would send me a pic within an hour. If they balk at the idea, or just ghost you, you just saved yourself some headache.

Second, politely set the rules before you meet, if you have to do a meet and greet. Tell them you will happily meet and buy them a lunch or coffee, but you don't give out allowance for M&G. This too will also weed out the flakes.

Ultimately, its like buying a car. You have to be willing to walk away if the deal doesn't feel right. Play by those rules, and you will have success. Happy hunting!

After perusing this board, I think I'm actually going to pay for a membership over at 'seeking". Having said that, I will not be paying to meet someone for a drink, other than the cost of the drink. I agree with Bob 100%. I don't do meet and greets, only did it once in the past few years. But if I did, they would get no money for just showing up. There are tons of girls who will show up for a free meal, and as a bonus you give them money. And you never hear from them again. Just another FMH.
