Posts: 2351FYI, Hydroxychloroquine is only FDA approved to treat Lupus and Malaria NOT COVID. The evidence suggests that hydroxychloroquine is not effective in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19, and the potential benefits of the drug do not outweigh the known and potential risks. As a result, trump's own FDA REVOKED their earlier issue of an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for hydroxychloroquine.

The agency revoked the authorizations for hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine after a request from Gary Disbrow, acting director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.
After reviewing new information from large clinical trials the agency now believes that the suggested dosing regimens "are unlikely to produce an antiviral effect," FDA chief scientist Denise Hinton said in a letter announcing the decision.
Study after study has shown, Hydroxychloroquine has ZERO effect in treating people with COVID-19.
India is a test case to see the true efficacy of Hydroxychloroquine in treating COVID patients. India produces 70% of the global supply of Hydroxychloroquine. In February 2020 India banned all exports of Hydroxychloroquine. The Indian Government's intent was to ensure they had an adequate supply of hydroxychloroquine to meet their public health needs in their fight against COVID.
Fast forward to yesterday, tens of millions of Indians have contracted COVID. New infections are running at 400,000 per day. India's public health sector has collaspsed because 90 percent of the hospitilizations are COVID patients. The country has run short of oxygen supplies. COVID and other sick are being turned away from hospitals in droves. There are mass cremations of the dead in the streets in many of the major cities in India.
If Hydroxychloroquine is so effective at fighting COVID, why are are Governors in states such as Utah, Oklahoma, Florida etc trying to return their orders of Hydroxychloroquine?
Oklahoma Tries to Return Hydroxychloroquine
The Oklahoma Attorney Generals Office has been tasked with attempting to return a $2 million stockpile of a malaria drug once touted by former President Donald Trump as a way to treat the coronavirus.
In April, Gov. Kevin Stitt (R), who ordered the hydroxychloroquine purchase, defended it by saying that while it may not be a useful treatment for the coronavirus, the drug had multiple other uses and that money will not have gone to waste in any respect.'
Like many states, Florida is trying to get rid of its hydroxychloroquine.
* Florida secured about a million doses last year through donation.
* Few were used as research suggested the pills did little to treat COVID
* In June, Florida had about 980,000 pills left
* Its now working with the Lupus Foundation of America to donate the remaining supply.
So, forget hydroxychloroquine. It's a COVID hoax. REAL men drink Clorox, or Lysol to prevent COVID. And stick black lights up their back doors.

Posts: 1011Hospitals get bonus for ccp virus death and more bonus for ccp virus on ventilator death. Cycle a pcr test 30+ times and dead cells from a cold or flu you had last year will show up as a corona / ccp virus. Hospital marks that down as cause of death then collects $40k from taxpayer. It's not hard. Don't overthink it and the logic won't escape you.

Posts: 654Dude it takes cancer MONTHS sometimes years to kill someone, that "argument" you gave makes little sense, especially given that the death rate since the pandemic started has been around 500,000-900,000 and the cancer death rate is only 100,000 per year in the U.S.

I am happy living here, there is something for everyone and easy travel to everywhere, but whether it escorts, massage, or streetwalkers we just aren't a good market compared to Florida cities and well most big cities for that matter.

Yes, if you died from cancer but caught covid, then we forget about the cancer (they only died of covid).

BUT the rates for the providers here are damn expensive. Honestly didn't expect it coming from NY.
Not sure if its a Covid, stimulus or just a recent price hike thing. Has it always been like this? Getting quotes of like $250 hr, $120 for a QV and it seems like most people are charging this. Could be I'm new to the area and don't know the spots but damn this sucks.

Posts: 307Coovid deaths vs Immunization
Let me make sure I have this correctly:
Anyone who died for any reason after getting Covid-19 dies for a reason other than Covid-19 and any person who dies for any reason after getting the Covid-19 vaccine dies because of the Covid-19 vaccine.
The logic of some people escapes me.

Posts: 654Between a 1/2th and 2/3 rds of a million Americans died as a consequence of Covid-19. This was not some trivial uptick, this wasn't "they're on their way out", but a real and substantive death toll. I might add that it is a bizarre to be so deathly concerned about the "unknown possible long term side effects of Covid vaccines" when we know little about the long term side effects of Covid-19 but what little we do is alarming. Only about 1. 8% of confirmed Covid cases results in deaths in the USA, but it is entirely possible that a far larger share could be debilitated for life, have a decade or two lopped off their life expectancy, etc etc. And note that this isn't limited to those hospitalized:

"Ziyad Al-Aly and his colleagues used the databases of the USA Department of Veterans Affairs to examine health outcomes in more than 73,000 people who'd had COVID-19 and were not hospitalized, comparing them with nearly 5 million users of the VA health system who did not have COVID-19 and were not hospitalized.
Six months later, those who'd had COVID-19 were found to be at higher risk of new onset heart disease, diabetes, mental health disorders including anxiety and depression, substance use disorders, kidney disease and other problems. ".
People who get Covid-19, even those who get "mild" cases or quite possibly didn't even realize they had it at the time, nevertheless often seem to be permanently debilitated and vulnerable to other ailments and problems both physical and mental. And again that's for non-hospitalized; I have no doubt that for those hospitalized its considerably worse.
As for vaccine efficacy:

The rise of vaccinations has seen a decline in hospitalizations for all age groups including younger ones, showing that even younger brackets derive some benefit besides having the common decency to keep their more elderly and feeble friends and family alive. However the greatest benefit has accrued to the demographics that got the most vaccinations. While younger generations have seen their hospitalization rate cut in half, the elderly have seen it cut to around a seventh of what it was before.
If this was a simple decline from a peaking Covid wave you'd expect the decline to be even across all demographics, but its not. The elderly are getting vaccinated and thus being directly protected, while other age brackets are benefiting from the reduced spread brought about by more and more people getting vaccinated. Some of it is no doubt just a natural decline from the winter peak, but again that doesn't explain the differing decline by age.
Vaccines work. They decrease your odds of getting the disease, of dying of the disease if you get it, and of spreading the disease in either case. Every legitimate medical organization will tell you that vaccines work. It is acknowledged that vaccines do not provide 100% immunity and they do not have 100% chance of no side effects. That does not change the position of medical authorities.

You are. I am just not as gullible as you and many others. Remember the whole Hydroxychloroquine thing being bad and now it is good? Fauci is just baking this 15 minutes of fame for as long as he can.
