They work there. In several of the jewelry buildings, there are stores up to the top floors. In others, there are small cramped unairconditioned offices where the jewelry setters work. Lots of the latinas work in those places or in any number of the businesses in the area. Some are just shopping.

None are ho's.

I was downtown looking to buy some gold bullion coins. It looks like there is a rather large street market for gold peso coins in the jewelry district, but I digress.

Reviews on this site count for a lot. Look at all the responses since mentioning Coco. Wireless said she looked like a big mamasan with clown cheeks, he had it right on.

I still can't get that traumatic experience out of my mind. I need to do it with someone else repeatedly just to escape it. Wireless also said Coco didn't understand why he kept calling her "Mariah" made me crack up!
