Former uncle. I use to. Do monthly compliance checks at retail stores / bars. We would send in a subject under 21 to purchase alcohol (restaurants / retail) and or tobacco. As soon as the sale was completed. I would enter store and issued a ticket. We had a budget and often spent 8 for a pack of cigs or 12 bucks for a case of beer or more for hard liquor. To think a small amount of money would stop uncle from securing a arrest / case is laughable. I did a few small scale drug operations, I have given informants money for gas, minutes on a phone, a snack or a baby sitter. 5 bucks one way or another world not even be a slight speed bump.

Posts: 1465I'm not sure if it's true but.
I've been told that a cop is not allowed to purchase anything over 5. 00 or they usually won't agree to anyways. I have no idea if it's true or not. If they ask for something I just agree and tell them I forgot when I get there if they ask. Nine times out of ten they don't ask for it when I get there anyways. They also believe that nonsense that if they ask a cop if he is LE that he is honor bound to tell the truth. So put that right up there with stepping on a crack will break your mother's back and so on.

Posts: 92And this is why the scammers usually ask for a "small deposit" rather than a large amount. The process of getting your money back is so time consuming and requires so many steps that most of the people who get scammed would rather just let that money go and move on. If it's just $30, no one is going to go through the process to get that back, whereas someone might be motivated to try to get $300 back. And if the scammer can get $30 "for gas" from 5 different guys, that's $150 for a lot less effort on their part then making $150 by spending an hour with a monger.

Posts: 139Guesses About Buying Cigarettes Rationale
These are just wild guesses as to why a provider would ask a client to buy cigarettes. Firstly, I agree with OP, who said being asked to buy anything is a no-go.

* Or, she is working behind a significant other's back. "I'm going to get cigarettes" could be a lie she told someone to explain a missed call, or her not being where expected, etc. Your cigarettes can later be used as evidence.
* Or, as you said, it's an LE check. Stings often have strict steps of action, and / or timing. Would a cop go outside of the parameters of "the mission" to get some smokes?

I wonder what's with the stank of a women, is it just hygiene? Too be fair I had Hockey several times too but only got moderate uncomfortable about her coochie smell when I dined on her. Am sensitive to stank too and absolutely won't go near to a dead fish like pussy for munching.

Posts: 139One can initiate a "chargeback" through the app, via a website, and there's even a telephone number to call.

The thing is, the Cash App chargeback process is more involved and time-consuming than its "refund" process, which assumes both parties to the transaction are on the up-and-up (e. G. You sent money to a friend, but it turns out they no longer needed it). For a refund, you basically just hit a "request refund" button, the other party's app gives them a notification, and they click a button to give the refund. The process is pretty much immediate.
For a cash app chargeback, there are extra steps to "document" the transaction. That is, you have to tell exactly what the transaction is for. And, cash app's customer support (a human) evaluates the situation (the assumption is the party is a business) to see if a chargeback is warranted. Even if cashapp customer service approves the chargeback, they say it will take 10 days to return the money to you.
The problem I see, from the point of view of the "hobby," is getting Cash App customer service to agree that it was a faulty BUSINESS transaction.
Imagine having to explain, type, or mail a letter stating "I sent 250 'roses' to a 'provider' in a locale in which that is illegal. Now I want it back because she did not give me BBBJTC, greek, and DATO. " And after that headache, having to wait at least a week and a half for your 'roses' to be returned to your bank. Cas App even states "It’s impossible to say how long a dispute might take, but since chargebacks involve investigations and some back-and-forth communication, you might be waiting for a while."

If they ask for gift cards, electronic payment (traceable) or anything besides green backs it's a auto pass for me. Best to have tracks covered for untraceable and secure you pay what you are getting into. Fake pics or not. Just my two cents.

https://cash.app/help/us/en-us/3051-cancel-a-payment
Per cash app site a transfer is instantly processed and extremely hard to reverse, if not possible. The accounts do appear in theory can be traced by law enforcement, but not easily. A search warrant is required. A significant amount of these scams are run by prisoners in. Prison. We all know the scam signals: poorly worded. Vague location. Ridiculously low prices. Deposits. Any ad that is instagram / snap chat only, no phone number available or provided is very suspicious. It's hard to consistently answer a contraband phone in prison. I always ask for a verification photo before I get to deep (spoon in left hand. Holding up a sock with face in photo smiling. I avoid 2 or 3 fingers up. It is too common. I do not think the oldest profession is dead. But it is on life support. Remain vigilant.

What might be the rationale for asking to buy cigarettes? Is it supposed to be a LE check?

Tried reaching out to Shelley. She is asking for a face pic. Do all of you provide face pics? I do have references from other providers which I am more than willing to share. But she does not entertain references saying that she does not work with the other girls. Let me know your thoughts on providing face pics and is it the usual method for verification.

Posts: 1868I admit I'm not really familiar with Cash App in terms of it's TOS and so forth; can you not just reverse a payment you make to Cash App? There must be some kind of process to get Cash App to flag an account?

I went by and saw her. She had a kinda gross body in my opinion. You can tell she'd been pregnant before and her body reflects it. Also she had bruises and scratches over her body. Her teeth were kinda gross too. In my opinion, she did not live up to her pictures. I did only get one peck to my lips. And I also experienced that smelly smell when hitting it from the back. I did get some Greek from her for a small upcharge. Overall, I should've just stayed home! But you get what you paid for. So I can only be upset in myself for seeing her. I will for sure not repeat.
