I suspect the accident is not really an accident. KA's owner was able to somehow acquire control of a couple of Bay Area agencies and moved their girls to his stable. A few of the girls were really in hot demand. Of course once they move, their quality regressed and traffic dropped. It's a syndicate, if they don't make money, there's a penalty for it.
