Out of curiosity, why shouldn't they raise their prices when literally every service sector in this country regularly raises their prices over the years? That's not how economics / supply and demand work for anyone else so why should they adhere to it?

Most service sectors shouldn't raise prices either, it's related more so to greed than economy. If there is an actual product, sometimes the product cost increases and a company has to offset that cost with higher prices. This hobby is strictly a service and most are of mediocrity level. Additionally, even on an average of 2. 5 to 3% annual pay increase for the average employee, provider increases far exceed that, mainly with their ss and hh rates. Also, many legitimate "services" will provide a discount or monetary return if you aren't happy with the service. In this hobby, you'd be lucky to not get robbed let alone, receive a guarantee of service.

I agree now I think 1 k for someone on LC is too much, I agree with you on paying an extra $20 since things in the world went up, and if your a regular some of them will let you pay the same rate you been paying. I know the max I would regularly pay on LC is $120, unless it's Jenny ling.

This is a perfect example of why I will never pay high dollar and wished most, if not all, guys did the same instead of obliging to their high asking prices which drives them up. I know it'll never happen cause far too many are incapable of that control, but it would set an example to them we're not paying it.

I actually have saved texts from providers whom I asked their rates last year and again this year. Many have doubled (or more) and the rest have simply risen $20 to $40 more per time. And what are they doing different? Nothing, while many were never worth the lower price, let alone the current higher prices.

I said it before, I paid for high end and was sadly disappointed. I paid for low end to even SW who were rock stars. It's your money, but too bad it happens that way.
