Make sure you have a VPN enabled, it's a absolute must. Mytoolstown is a good place to start. When the cartel calls, send them a text or 250.

When I get crap like this I will often times F with them and act like I am real afraid of them. They usually try to get you to go buy a gift card, green dot card, game or google card and occasionally will ask for cash app funds. I've had them ask for as much as $5 k! Anyway, I play along then after stringing it out like I don't know what to do. I tell them how concerned I am for my "family" (fictional family LOL) and don't want any one hurt. Then, when I am finally "giving them the card number" off the back of the card, I will send them a bunch of random nonsense numbers. Sometimes I include letters in the mix with the numbers just to mix it up with them. They try to correct me and verify again the numbers. They will start to get madder and madder increasing the threats and sending more pics. They will ask for pics of the back of the card or the digits after a while, so I send them pics of the back of some cash card (already used or has a zero balance) I have laying around but I always crop out or exclude parts of the digits in the picture to keep them going.

I dragged one guy out for 3 days once! He would write me all hours of the night and I wouldn't respond until hours later. He told me he was sending some of his gang members to my house and gave me the address he was coming to "get me". I have never lived at the address he sent to me or even that same city before. I use a spoofed number app service and connect showing a spoof phone number on their display that I found off of Craigslist years ago. I've used this same spoofed number for many years, so any address they may have pulled up from that number isn't actually me anyhow! I acted more and more afraid and he kept insisting they were a few miles away and I had better quit messing around.

Eventually I will tire of it and either stop responding or tell them I was F'ing with them the whole time and to come and get me! Dick-weeds. Some of them are probably the same groups that pull the other deposit scams and such.

I had some scammer texting me last night from a North Carolina # ending in 5631. They claimed they were the Tijuana Cartel and sent me pictures of dead bodies with limbs cut off. They told me that they didn't appreciate me wasting their time by setting up an appointment with an escort and then cancelling. I told them that I felt special that the Tijuana Cartel was contacting me and if there was any way they could hook me up with a visit to Chapo in the NY prison. Anyway keep an eye out on these clowns. My thoughts are that they are trying to scare folks into giving them cash and it is working. I have not canceled on any providers recently but have been given the run around a lot lately. Mainly from Adult Search. But I have no idea which ad was responsible for the texts as I will respond to 10 different ads just hoping to get 1 legit response. I have received similar texts in the past but it's been a while.
