No prob, happy to help. In all my years hobbying, I've placed my donation in an envelope maybe twice (and that was when I was a newbie). Regarding what's out of place & knowing when to walk away: that's something you'll have to figure out through experience. Everyone's got their own ruleset, how much PII they're comfortable with revealing, the surroundings / environment they're okay with when dropping their drawers, whether or not they're okay with their provider doing drugs or alcohol in front of them, paying upfront, etc. Personally, I have a few nopes which I don't compromise on:

If a provider attempts to rob me, extort me, or makes a huge public scene? Run away.

If a provider blatantly lies, reneges on what was agreed upon, and doesn't follow through on their end of the transaction? Depending on the circumstance, I've walked away. Maybe toss a Jackson their way out of pity.

If a provider's ad seems TGTBT, it likely is. Speaking generally, it's not a good sign when a provider lays out specific details of a future session. Some ground rules like her nopes, sure. But if a provider's first text is along the line of how she can't wait for you to dump multiple loads in her kitty despite never once seeing each other before? Something's seriously off and it might be best to walk away. Best case scenario, it's a scam. Worst case, a violent scam or LE.

Some providers' pictures don't accurately portray their true appearance. Which is fine to an extent since most agencies operate this way. But blatant false advertising is something no one should stand for. So if you arrive in-person and the provider appears to have hit every fucking branch while plummeting from the fugly tree? Don't feel bad, walk away.

If there's a police vehicle (especially an unmarked one) that you've managed to spot lingering around the parking lot of a provider's location, you could move with a purpose and act like you belong. But if you see a ton of foot traffic around the entrances or near the provider's room? Walk--don't run--away, and then inform the provider the location's too hot once you're in the clear. Don't do this while still on the property as that could give you away. It might be that the cop's not there for you, but why take that risk?

If you're at the entrance of a condominium, apartment, or some upscale residential area with coded locks & the provider has left you hanging with no way in (no texts, phone call, nothing)? Walk away. This happened once and I was able to reschedule later since the agency owned up to their mistake. It's just never a good idea to linger in the open like that where it's obvious you don't belong. That could really invite serious trouble, especially if that complex has a ton of security cameras.

If passing the concierge / front desk at a provider's hotel lobby, play it off like you're already a guest. Pretend like your talking on your cell phone, stare straight ahead while walking, whatever. But if you notice dirty looks being thrown your way or staff confronts you for whatever reason? Don't get caught in an obvious lie, stand your ground within reason, never confess to shit, and walk away. Again, give the provider a heads up once you're clear of the property.

Every one of those scenarios have happened to me before. Thankfully, I've never been busted nor experienced a LE sting firsthand (knock on wood). Again, can't stress this enough: if you feel unsafe about anything or you have that spidey sense that's telling you something's off, it's better safe than sorry. Okay thanks for the shower clarification hahaha. I shower every day so even if I didn't shower right before meeting, I'd still be generally clean, but yeah just want to make sure I do things right.
