Saying "hello" is always a good place to start when greeting someone, haha! If rates aren't listed, simply ask by the 2nd or 3rd text. They shouldn't be offended when the omission is on their end. As in the food industry, tips aren't mandatory. They're a reward for quality service and are always appreciated. If the provider gave you a fantastic time, by all means tip them an extra 10 - 80 (really dependent on the original agreed total). And if the experience was mechanical, shitty or plain false advertising, give only what you agreed upon and not a cent more. Regarding showers--come on dude. Yes, you should always shower. I typically do so a few hours prior to seeing a provider, as well as in the morning when I wake up.
