There are a bunch of motels around that cater to the hobby. Most as you would imagine are lower end. They are cheap for a reason.

I have met up with providers in all sorts of locations. 4 star hotels, Motor Homes, A service garage, and even a tent (yes I was VERY STUPID). Of all, the tent was the scariest, and it was followed closely by the high end hotels. There is a LOT of security in those places. Security that is trained to keep prostitution out of their location.

The trick to it all is to act like you have a legit reason to be there. I am reminded of the old TV series The Rockford Files. Rockford always said that a clipboard will get you into as many doors as a key will. I can confirm this works. Going in with a clip board, a sack of groceries, a shipping box, or carry out from a restaurant (Get yourself a Door Dash ball cap) will make it seem that you are legitimately there.

I also do my due diligence outside. I look for people sitting in cars, or cars that are running. People standing around for no reason. Guys reading in the lobby (nobody does that). Very clean utility trucks in the parking lot. I make sure to back into my parking spot so my license is not readily available to scan by PD readers.

I know that some of you out there will say "Damn Shaw! Are you paranoid?" And my answer is - - yes. But if I am looking for a decent hook-up at a good rate, then I will have to deal with these locations.

I also agree with Grizzly that there should be more car dates out there! That would eliminate a lot of this.
