Anyways so that's that. An interesting and silly experience, not at all what I was expecting, but definitely one I'm glad I had (and early at that). I will absolutely, at some point in my life, make it a point to see her again. Not sure if it'll be a few weeks from now or a few months, but I'd love to try my hand once I'm a little more wizened and a lot less numbed!

It sure is. From my experience, it is about 50/50 chance of whether they tell you or not. However, once you get there most people can just tell. I'd be cautious with unreviewed Thai providers.
