I agree. Obviously with Covid, getting an intimate medical examine is problematic, but I'll mention it to my PCP. A urologist seems like the most logical place to start.

Most MDs are clueless when it comes to hormone replacement therapy. You would be better off with a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or a Naturopath. If you prefer a MD then find a specialist or an Endocrinologist. Most doctors only look at total testosterone. They don't pay attention to free testosterone, which isn't bound. The don't examine the SHBG levels, nor pay attention to the Estradiol levels. Most are behind the curve of Aromatization and aromatase inhibitors. The male reproductive system is delicately balanced. If you bottom out your estradiol levels, you kill your sex drive. If you testosterone / estrogen levels get screwed up, then that creates other problems.

When everything is perfectly balanced, then there aren't any issues. There are several men's health clinics that focus on these issues. .

All I'm saying is: to determine if there's something wrong with your male reproductive organs, you'll want to be seen by an MD that specializes in those organs. And that's a urologist. Do all of the above.

When I talked about testosterone with my doctor, she put me on weekly injections. Didn't notice any change in my ability to function going that way. What pills are you taking, and are they prescription? Thanks.

You're not even 50. Go to the doctor and find out what's going on. I went to the doctor for the first time in about 5-6 years several months ago and found out all kinds of shit. My blood pressure was so high (170/110) that she said I was a walking stroke victim, I found out that my body was have allergic reactions to many of the foods that I eat (which is why I always felt miserable), then I found that I had sleep apnea so bad that my blood oxygen levels drops to 82 (when I sleep, lastly my testosterone level was incredibly low.

So, I could just keep doing what I'm doing and die or make changes. So, I changed my diet (and immediately lost 15+ lbs), started taking meds for blood pressure (it's now 122/75), started taking testosterone pills (which give me much more energy and makes me want to fuck everything that moves and probably some things that don't move). I'm still on the fence about the C-Pap, I don't like the idea of sleeping with tubes attached to me, but if I use one and feel much better then I'll probably end up doing it. There is zero reason that you should have limp dick at 49.

I'm in my early 50's. What I've noticed makes a big difference is the provider attitude. When I have performance issues, it's because I feel rushed or unwelcome. When the girl is acting like she is REALLY into me and REALLY happy I'm there, there's never a dick issue. So the problem might not be your hardware, but the software. Maybe try a more GFE-attitude provider?
