Is do a Google image search. Very simple by clicking on any pic in the ad. You'll see a clickable link to search it. Once you do that, you'll see the various cities and states where this ad has been placed. Second giveaway, is the explicit nature of the pics as well as the wording. As the other poster noted, in the location they posted the number. My apologies because I said spammer, but really meant to say spam and scammer.

I know you mentioned asking for a specific picture which is good. Make it get specific, ie certain fingers displayed, writing the date in a mirror on lipstick usually sends them running. Just because they didn't ask for a donation up front doesn't mean they won't. They can turn it on you sending you to a website to verify yourself. You're communicating with an actual person mind you, it's just not the person in the pics. They just want your hard earned $, and will do what's necessary to certain point to trick you.

If they don't provide a local location, more than likely its a fake. These ads are posted all over the country with the sole intention to scam you. The pics are usually models, no one you will meet locally.

Generally, yes, but there are a couple of new twist or stunts these scammers are pulling.

1. Some scammers will get a local number for the area they're scamming.

2. Some will direct you to a local hotel. They'll use google maps to scope out their target area for hotels and street names to appear to be a local person.

These scammers are guys, not women. This is why you should reject all who ask for a fee, deposit or *ANY* payment in advance.

The last resort is an actual public meet but things won't get to that point. They could try to setup a meeting but it would be for spite and to waste your time. Be skeptical and use your big head.
