Here's a short explanation on why a female condom is better from the male perspective. With a male condom, the material is static / stationary against the skin of your penis. With the female condom, the material rubs against your penis. It's a fleshlight, in a woman. It's expensive because of supply and demand, and there isn't the benefit of cost of scale on manufacturing.

I most definitely prefer the female condom, and have introduced a few women to the product. I have asked a couple of them if it was better or worse, and from their perspective, there is less sensation, but not so much that they don't enjoy sex.
