Here's a short explanation on why a female condom is better from the male perspective. With a male condom, the material is static / stationary against the skin of your penis. With the female condom, the material rubs against your penis. It's a fleshlight, in a woman. It's expensive because of supply and demand, and there isn't the benefit of cost of scale on manufacturing.

I most definitely prefer the female condom, and have introduced a few women to the product. I have asked a couple of them if it was better or worse, and from their perspective, there is less sensation, but not so much that they don't enjoy sex. Unlike men, women don't rely on just vaginal stimulation. They can get off, if only men would explore more.
