I have been at this at least 30 years. Places like Norwood, Needham and Wellesley the AMPs do not last long. Even parts of Boston like West Roxbury they are gone in weeks if not days. Quincy Waltham Watertown with large working Asian communities they last decades lots of the ones that existed when I started exist today. Some have changed hands and some retired. Almost all had gotten busted when politics requires but most if not all quietly go back to there old games. Google any AMP that has a menu and located at the same address 10 years or more, you will find out 80% at least had been busted. China Town had gotten shut down and now mostly up and running. I do feel that the current politics of the perception of "Asian Hate" will cause politicians to tread lightly in pursuit of Asian parlors. But when elections are close some places will get popped for the news story and then slowly go back to normal. Been that way since the beginning of time.

It's different now with FOSTA. Owners are doing real time because they are going away for trumped up trafficking charges. Been in this hobby for decades, but FOSTA was a game changer.

To the best of my knowledge not a single person has been charged nor prosecuted under FOSTA that I'm aware of and it has nothing to do with AMP's FOSTA stands for Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act, it doesn't apply to AMP's.

Wouldn't be surprised if the next one to go down is the other Latina place in Revere, Eustachian place (whatever it's called) which has the Thai women across the hall and cameras peppered throughout the hallway. This sucks people. Stay safe.

Then get your nose checked. When these places apply for licenses the clerk who takes the application calls whatever cop she's fucking to tell him about it. Long before the doors are opened cops know about it and if the place is unlicensed within days there have been neighbor complaints. When they get told to bust them, they bust them, it's as simple as that.
