Posts: 128I think the point is to stop apologizing for thieves. That kind of thing should be deterred no matter how bad the person's life is.

Posts: 412There are some girls out there that just love the street life I will admit that. If you offered them a magic pill to make it all go away they wouldn't take it. Most girls don't have the willpower and or the support to get clean.

It's easy for us to say get help, check into a program. Try not breathing for 30 minutes, that's what it would be like for an addict to give up drugs. No it's not impossible but it does seem that hard when you're an drug addict.

Posts: 189Friends of mine used the "hope not handcuffs". They help regardless of any situation. Whether your in trouble with law or not. It came as a recommendation and she swears these people helped make the difference.

Posts: 412Agree completely. If you can't afford to lose 60 dollars then you need to get out of this hobby. That fact that someone feels someone should lose their life over such a small amount of money is crazy.

Posts: 731Last check I made for a friend was several months ago with Sacred Heart inpatient rehab. At that time, there was a week waiting list and the stay was 26 days. There are many other facilities but I don't know the requirements or their operative.

Posts: 682Agree completely. Most have no support system whatsoever. Often it was one mistake in trying some substance that led to a an addition and a cascade of more bad choices. Or no choice at all. We all of us take for granted our good health, steady income, safe home, reliable personal transportation, available and affordable healthcare, etc.

Posts: 739I'm hearing there is no abundance of programs. Getting a bed for a full 30 day program is very difficult. Those who need it are lucky to get 5 days detox. Then they are released without a support system or further help.

Posts: 731We all have choices in life. I know addiction is tough to break, but it's not impossible. There are an abundant of free programs to obtain help but they choose not to seek it. They continuing to rob potential clients increases their bad karma. I can't sympathize with them for robbing. It's simply wrong and one day, they will do it to the wrong person. That could be their final karma.

Posts: 412Do you have any idea what these girls lives are like? Karma punishes them every day. There is no reason to wish any ill will on them.

Decided to try her. Comms good, walked into the shady 6 mile and Telegraph motel room, she asked for the cop test then asked for the money. I was pulling out the money to show her I had it with the intent to tell her I'm good for it and wasn't going to give it to her yet. If she wanted it, then I would have told her to get naked first. Regardless, she was right next to me and snatched it from my hand (lesson learned not to be too close). I said "hey", what are you doing" and she said she had to use the bathroom really quick. Right then I knew there will be a problem. She was in there for a very long time and their trick is to hope we leave. I opened the room door then closed it. She exited the bathroom and was surprised I was still there. Then she walked out and went to another room and never returned. I remained in the room for awhile and gathered some of her belongings and took them when I left. Plus she had some bills in a drawer which I took.
Watch out for this one.

This chick will rob you. She's alone takes your money and then big guy knocks on door and she lets him in and he threatens to beat you up if you don't leave.
