But I texted I did, without skipping a beat she texts take a picture of the card. Then the same process followed. Take it out of the holder. I'm only 10 minutes away. I need to make sure it's the right card. I got sick of her B. S. And her saying you are scammer, of course not me, why don't you trust me. After that I indicated I was putting her on the net and disclosing their scam. She came back with I'm going to track you down and put lots of bullets' into me. So I lost some of my stimulus money. You're out some $$ but unharmed so live and learn. Never anything but cash in person or avoid. We've all been burned in the past and learn from it.

This seems to be making the rounds in Orlando, Space Coast and here as well. I NEVER pay in advance and I've NEVER used "gift cards" in my twenty five years of mongering. Its a scam anytime they ask for money up front don't do it.
