Once upon a time, CASH was actually a good thing to have in their position. But over time, there's been the stings, the robberies, the lost / "can't remember where they hid thee money", boyfriend / manager taking the money, friends hitting hem up for money and etc. , etc. , etc. Situations that would leave some ladies broke and in need of more / immediate cashflow. Then some of them got wiser and started using other means of getting quick cash as others in the mainstream were doing.

There were the days of asking gents / hobbyists to send them a Western Union of $xx and they would make it up up to them.

This evolved to a lesser cost Moneygram that became more accessible as places they could shop, like Walmart.

Then came the plastic version of transactions. Green Dot. Either buy them a card or replenish their current card (s).

And then the credit card companies joined the market with prepaid cards, which ladies would now ask guys to get a prepaid card and text them the card number and code.

This did not take long to evolve to simply buying a card on line and all transactions were electronic. Some even tried to dabble in the bitcoin sh! T (LOL).

And then comes the electronic cash app transfers that they now flaunt as gateway to come see many of them. Some even go to the level of requesting gents join their social media sites as the initial form of validation for meeting them. Only to get simply site content or maybe even NOTHING at all.

So. The request for advance payment is nothing new. And the traceability is no less risky now as it has been in the pass for those gents (and providers) who don't know how to set up "private" accounts for such activities.

Some use the technology as a scam, while others choose to use as either validation or even a means of avoiding a robbery or a possible sting. Either way, I don't subscribe to any social media sites and I don't have any of the electronic cash apps, with exception of my good old credit card and ATM card which I've had like forever.

The week or two prior to the Masters is when the smart plumber is cautious. The constabulary like to put a bit of a scare into the usuals prior to the weeks festivities.
