Like it starts off clearly talking about how meetings were arranged through social media, which would suggest guys responded to an ad that was posted on a site somewhere. But all of the guys who were charged were also hit with a "using a vehicle to promote prostitution", which feels more like guys rolling up on and approaching a girl off the street. How can it be both? Unless its guys responding to an ad and then agreeing to some form of a car date I don't see how it adds up.
Also, the subject talks about guys getting busted for solicitation of underage girls, but none of the guys are charged with that at all?

Someone posted in STG other day and after texting said could I grab a four loco she lost her fake. Asked how old. She said 17. That's where it ends and communicating stopped. Ad stated 19-20 I think. Why'all be safe and use the big head.

When I'm searching ads online I steer clear of the ones that look way young. I prefer 30 and up ti be on safe side. I wonder if any lurk on this site. Sick bastards.

Posts: 113I'm not sure why this would trigger someone. The guy accused appears to have been rather careless while operating in the gray (I'm not trying to start an argument about what the laws should be). The few articles out there alludes to there being an ongoing investigation as it mentioned there were other minors involved and that he shared the girls with other guys. Sex trafficking charge. Maybe it ends with this guy, but these things can also snowball quickly. Now his photo is in the news. Do more possible victims come forward? How many of this guy's friends are being looked at by the police? How many treads to the policy care to follow? How many threads do the media choose to follow?

The fact of the matter is, legally it doesn't matter how old the girls looked, but if the girls true did look under 18 it's just a slam dunk.

The braces comment in that story was ridiculous. I've known women in their over 30 with braces. My question is, what responsibility does SA bear in keeping underage people off their site? One would assume that they'd take better measures to insure that underage girls are kept off their site, just to protect their business.

Posts: 2790EXACTLY! Until we get away from rating prosecutors on a win-loss record for promotions, etc. , we truly won't have justice in this country.

While I myself am only interested in post college girls, a quote from that article reinforces that the law is an ass and DAs can be some opportunistic mofos.

Because women over 18 never have braces. DAs can be more concerned with career advancement than any notion of justice. But the affidavit states he had reason to know the girls were underage, including the fact that one still had braces on her teeth.
Just keep that in mind that no matter how mutually beneficial a relationship from SA may be a transaction is being made and that is enough for prosecution.
