Posts: 29I imagine it's best to leave your gun in your glovebox instead of bringing it in. Seeing a gun would likely frighten the girl and lessen the chance of getting fully serviced.

Posts: 29Absolute garbage article. She's just another weak journalist trying to make the story about her and her feelings. Nothing at all about the actual women who were shot dead on the other side of the country, but, yeah, go off about how you had your brows done by an Asian.

Posts: 1868This is just taking control of the narrative. It's like how gay people started calling themselves "queer", and eventually "LGBT"; once you start defining your own category (or someone else's) you gain a certain amount of power over yourself (or others, as the case may be.). There's a good essay by Thomas Szasz on this very subject (no link, but you might Google it?)

For awhile, there have been two warring Leftist narratives about "sex work", one which calls it a legitimate kind of work deserving of protections, and the other which conflates it with human trafficking. I guess "care work" tilts the argument towards the "legitimacy" argument, which, on balance, is a good thing.
FWIW, I *have* met some pretty "caring" sex workers! (and I'd say they outnumber the handful of frightening narcissists and psychopaths I've also met in the game.).

Posts: 1610Now that you mention it
A whack shot up a grocery store in Boulder, CO today. So far ten are dead including a police officer. The perp is alive and appears to be a pudgy white male. The beat goes on.

Posts: 1610Never pass up a tragedy to exploit
The author is a woke Asian female from California who knows that emotion sells. Just another scab capitalizing on last week's tragedy, no better than the media turds and political hacks.

Someone break this down for me.
If sex work is care work, I need a new career.

Posts: 13634No, it was in San Diego back in 1984. Twenty-one people were killed.

Posts: 13634I would not panic in the least over this. I believe it's a one-off and not likely to happen for a long time, if ever. I liken the chances to a woman with huge tits removing her bra at a weak spot on the San Andreas fault and causing Armageddon. Could happen? Yeah, but not fucking likely!

Posts: 13634All three parlors been reviewed extensively over the years. Young's was a Chinese parlor (rub and tug) and the other two were Korean parlors (full service). Those women are not trafficked in any way. Koreans are usually recruited from Korea but not forced into anything. Their network allows them to move around freely to different parlors in the States and they even have their own "taxi" system to move them around.

Posts: 13634Wasn't that in California somewhere? I think they bulldozed the building and put up a memorial.

Posts: 1868I carry in general (point of clarity, Georgia has a Firearms Permit, not a concealed carry permit; if you have a GA Firearms permit, you can carry open or conceal), but if I visited a spa I would leave it in the glovebox.

I mean, you can't really take it to the table shower with you, so at least for a few minutes it's in your *unlocked* spa room. When you're fucking, you're not going to be wearing it or have it on hand. I guess you could set it on the little table with the lotions and tissues, but again, there are just times when YOU are not really in control of the gun; I mean, if she's riding you asian cowgirl, she has an easier reach for it, since you need to kind of twist around. It just doesn't work.
(I guess if it's jacket season you could pocket-carry a microcompact like a P938 or a LC9 and drape your jacket on the chair so you could reach and draw pretty quickly, but you still have the unattended firearm during the table shower.).
Part of the appeal of AMPs (or KAMPs, at least) is that in general there is SOME kind of admittance process. Usually you go up, and there might be an intercom, or at least a little waiting room before you actually enter the facility. In theory, even leaving clothes in the room to go to the table shower is an exercise in "I hope my clothes will still be here", but at least you've gone through 3-4 doors and a mamas to get into the room. Frankly, they need buzz-in security at any AMP, but if this guy had patronized these places, they'd have buzzed him in anyway. Still, a little more secure.
