So just ask them to prove their age by showing their driver's license (or national I'd if foreign).

+1 on both your points. It is too early to tell. But also does seem like it is linked to the hate crimes that some Asians are feeling (us and other countries) after the pandemic started. Sad.

Reading early profiles on the guy and seeing that patrons were also victims along with the masseuses, it's likely a religious radical attack. Too early to presume, but it'll likely be what's uncovered. Stay safe all.

It looks to me there are two things going on. The first is that they made appointments with working girls and either busted them or saved them from their pimps and some of these were underage.

The other is that they set up a sting for mongers and busted 14 guys with undercover cops posing as working girls. They were not busting guys for being with underage girls which is why they got misdemeanors. If they were going after guys after under age girls it would be more of a to catch a predator kind of situation.

Wow. Thanks for sharing. UA girls? Based on the way the article is written. It looks like the people arrested were not even aware they were UA. See last paragraph. Where it says if they are convicted. They will spent a 10 week course on the exploitation of women etc etc. If they were aware these were UA. There is NO way that would be a possible outcome. For one it would be a felony not a misdemeanour and no 10 week course bud. You are going in for a long time. But who really knows. I am speculating.

I have not seen any but chatted with a few. I ask them to send me a pic with I'd (covering PII information, but leaving pic and DOB visibile). The legit ones have done that no problem. I do not start any convo with them that is remotely sexual until I get that out of the way.
