That's what I've heard too. I know a few older folks who fell ill for several days after their second Moderna shot. Not sure what reactions people are having with the Pfizer or Johnson and Johnson vaccines.

Just recently got my covid vaccine shot. I'm going to give it till the end of April to take full effect. I'm looking forward to making it out coming May. It's been way too long.

So I was at Follies on a Friday trying to have a good time but I guess I pissed off the wrong waitress. On this day, I grabbed a drink from a near by gas station and parked across the street at Ross to try and save as much coin for some play time. With the change I anticipated I would save from dodging the valet parking fee and higher drink prices, I trotted to Ross and invested in a pair of dryfit Under Armour joggers because after getting home a couple of times and being told by the game warden that I smell like smoke, it was time to make the switch and have a pair I can hide and wash later. The excuse of I was at the barbershop and the barber took smoke breaks expired. Anyhow, I drink just enough so I can safely cross the street, present my I'd and thump a dollar in the tip jar. It was around 3 pm so it was packed. I usually like to sit on the couches by the entrance and face the stage, by doing so, I can easily side-eye and see which girls are going the extra mile. So after grabbing a beer, I got into position. One girl in particular was making all the right noises but when she got through some other guy picked her up. When I finally caught up with her, she had to take a phone call. If I remember correctly, she said her name was Jazzy. She kept mentioning how drunk she was and how she gets turned on when she gets drunk. I made a few rounds and was going to check her out but got distracted by a dancer by the name of Chandler. I gave in and got 2 dances but she kept her panties on for both dances. I got another beer, bumped into Viper and the same thing. 2 dances, top came off but panties stayed on. After a 3rd beer, I tried to catch up with Jazzy when a waitress walks by and asked if I wanted a drink. After I told her I was good, she takes her index finger and between my collarbone and chest she pokes out the words "You know there is a 2 drink minimum. " So I playfully return the favor and use my index finger and let her know I've had 3 drinks already. She walks off and I refocus on looking for Jazzy when management taps me on the shoulder and informs me that a waitress said I was being disrespectful. I try to plead my case but was told to head to the lobby to discuss it. We get to the lobby and I'm told to come back some other time. It was tempting to go to Ross and get a new outfit and hat and return but didn't want to risk future visits. The saying that the customer is always right doesn't exist anymore. Dancers rip customers off, harrass about dances and VIP, waitresses demanding tips. We all just have to be extra careful with what we say and do in there.

I wanted to take a moment and remind everyoneI what Follies became before their deserved demise. The post above is a good example of the cesspool that became the once great Follies. I know we all talk about how good it was at one point, but it was no where close to good when they finally shut down. Ripoffs and disrespect for paying customers was the most likely outcome of a follies visit too 2017-2019. When you hear about "follies management", don't think of the owners who built a great business, think of the morons who ruined literal ATM by catering to drug dealers.

I was at Vivid yesterday afternoon from about 4-6, place was OK but not hopping. Got a few decent dances but no stick shifting. The one redheaded gal with store boughts won't play as nice as she did the very first time because I won't take her to VIP where she said she charges $2-$3. 3. 3. I have not seen the Boppsy Twins, also known as Dumb & Dumber, in a few weeks.

Anyway, I spoke to one of the managers who used to dance at Follies, she it the one that is sometimes on door-guard duty. She said that the place is essentially two business in one, she called it a hybrid. After 9 PM it becomes an almost regular nightclub but with dancers. All the chairs (not couches) and stages are removed and most everyone is up dancing. If you are there before 9 you can stay, otherwise it is whatever the door fee is for that night and last night was $100/ person and it was pretty much reserved already for some rap-star's birthday or something.

As for dayshift, they are still trying to get the girls and customers to show up regularly. There are two pretty hot looking Latinas who won't get off their asses on the couch at the bottom of the stairs and their phones unless you go sit with them. Bad for business.

Then went to GR and it was totally dead, one dance. Security said it was trick change but the girls are hovering in back, from 8-8:30 not a dang thing happening.

Then to Pinups for the first time. Three rooms, one large main stage area with one-side blocked off for VIP seating, a middle area which was OK but no real back wall, and a pool room\hookah bar where there are way too many lights on which prevents any real fun. Dances are $5 each but parking is $10 and entrance is $20 (no military discount). I started in the main room and did not realize when I sat down that I was right next to the door leading to the girls changing room. The air circulation was such that I was constantly breathing the smoke and weed of the guy to my left sitting 10 feet away. I then moved to the pool area which has far less smoke. Got a dance but did not have time to stay later.

Made the rounds of a few clubs yesterday. Started at Strokers around 3:45. Pre and even post Covid there was a pretty decent day shift at Strokers that could be hit or miss like many, but in total there were many fine looking women to be found on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday. It now appears to be a wasteland during the afternoon. I think I saw one or two dancers in the back corner along with maybe 15 customers. I left within 2 minutes and when I rolled into Pin Ups I recognized a Strokers regular that was literally a fixture attached to a high top near the stage on almost every visit to Stokers. So confirmed what I already knew. No more Ryder, Little Bit, Meagan, Alana, Tip, or any other quality spinner in sight on my last 3 tries at Strokers. Even the pool player regular has shifted over to Pin Ups. No clue where the women went. If I were the manager I believe I would create some type of incentive to get that caliber of women back. Maybe it's a night shift only thing now. That's my last trip until someone on the board posts up with some additional information. Thanks.

I saw Ryder there a couple of weeks ago or so. She was the same great dancer as ever. Maybe it depends on the day. I haven't seen Olivia there in forever. Someone told me Olivia works the evenings now. I may have to go back one evening to get her digits again.

I pretty much agree with your review of the Platinum. It's about the closest thing to Follies, which doesn't mean it matches the level of quality and fun that Follies was famous for.

In particular, I don't like how small the club is and how tiny the parking lot is. Follies parking was not ideal either but still way better than dealing with the insanity of Platinum, and was actually easy during early day shifts. I think I'm only going to take Uber or Lyft to Platinum from now on to avoid the hassles of trying to find a place to park.

I'm glad to hear the billiards table to the right was replaced with couches. It's basic common sense that patrons come into the club for pussy, ass, and tits, not to play pool.

I hope more white and Asian dancers show up at Platinum, but I ain't holding my breath. It's always been a black club and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

This review is a result of my visit to Club Platinum on Saturday March 7th, 2021.

This's my second visit ever to Club Platinum.

The Inside of this club has been described multiple times by various contributors. The major difference I observed while there since my last visit was that the pool table by your immediate right is gone and replaced by multiple couches. Also there is a VIP area couple of stairs down by the DJ Booth that cost $50 to enter & is opened from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Nightly.

I arrived at this club around 7:30 PM & didn't leave until closing time around 2:45 AM.

Entry fee on this particular night was $20.

I got multiple dancers from various strippers and there were some truly memorable ones.

Something to be aware off seems that from 8:00 PM until closing time this particular club turns into a Make it Rain club & it can be difficult to get a hot dancer attention if you're not blowing a bag.

Overall music theme is HipHop / Rap with mostly Black dudes throwing stacks upon stacks on dancers.

I ordered a Red Bull at the bar which cost only $5..

To my understanding uncle joe is going to start sending 250-300 a month per kid under 18 starting in July till December. Toss in 1,400 per person in the house with the recent checks. Tax refunds, ppp, no evictions, unemployment, only fans, and 13 other government sources, I would suspect it will thin out the stripper population. I think there will be only two types in the club. Those that are driven enough to realize there is plenty of money that can still be made in the club and that have a demon problem that needs to be fed.

Nah, things will be back to normal by end of the summer. We finally got a competent President in the White House.

The $1400 checks will disappear pretty quickly. The eviction moratorium will end by Memorial Day and most dancers will be forced to pay up and might even owe back rent, which is all the more reason to scurry back to the clubs for cash.

I do agree that two main factors why girls become strippers is the profit-to-working hours ratio and feeding a habit. Every girl with a sexy body knows by age 18 that she can use that body like an ATM machine in various ways, whether it's stripping, escorting, or finding some guys who are stupid enough to give her money and gifts because they might be boyfriend material. That has always been the case and will never change. Plus, women have egos just like men and walking around in a frumpy Starbucks uniform doesn't put boners in guy's undies like a silk G-string will. Pretty girls will always feel good knowing they make a fella hot and bothered with lust, or otherwise they wouldn't spend so much money on makeup and clothes. Feeding a drug habit is also self explanatory and we all know stimulus checks won't fund that kind of hobby for very long.

Just be patient and relax. The good times are coming back. I even predict Follies will be back in operation by Labor Day.
