I had long been a Melrose Park-Stone Park lingerie club aficionado, but recent events in that neck of the woods (see the Melrose Park strip club thread) meant that I needed to find an alternate club. I hadn't been to All Star, located at 7949 47th Street (just about seven blocks west of Harlem), for five to ten years and thought it was worth a visit earlier this month.

I started out in Stone Park, for I was contemplating going into Carl's Bar, so getting to McCook was just a 20 minute drive south. It was fairly busy, but I managed to find a parking spot on Joliet Avenue, right across the street.

The entrance is on the north side of the building: I walked into an anteroom and then a bouncer opened the door. They scan your license (which I'm not a fan of, but whatever), and they do a patdown / wand check for weapons, and then you pay the cashier the $10 cover fee. I wore a mask when I went in, and one is absolutely required during dances proper. I only briefly took my mask down to sip the pop I bought at the bar (about $3). I noticed some folks kept their masks on while others had theirs off, especially if they were seated at a table and drinking.

The main room where the bar and tables were situated was about 20 feet by 40 feet. Restrooms and some gaming machines were along the south wall, while the bar is along the west wall. There is a separate room with less lighting called the "Man Cave" where the dances take place, and it's entered via a doorway (sans door) on the east wall. I think the dimensions of that room were about 12 feet by 30 feet. There were easily over 40 patrons, though admittedly I didn't take a careful count, including a couple (meaning that All Star is couple-friendly). There were about 12 dancers of varying ethnicities, mainly a mix of white and Latina, and, eventually, I saw two black dancers.

As I was getting oriented, a Latina dancer caught my eye and I had my first dance. As noted above, masks must be worn by the patron during the dance; it seemed that the dancers had a bit more leeway. Cost is $10 for a regular dance, $20 for a topless dance; songs are thankfully full tracks played from a jukebox, not a DJ. The Man Cave has little ledges where you can set your drink and padded stools to sit on (no couches). There are no partitions and there are cameras that get monitored by the bartender, who came in more than once to warn certain patrons to keep their mask on. Anyway, my first dancer was Stephanie, and I opted for a topless dance. While she was nice, the dance itself was a little low energy, and she faced away from me, making the topless aspect not so valuable. So I mentally noted that I should start with a regular dance going forward unless my intuition told me otherwise. After that dance I went back out to the main area to see who else was available.

While I was hoping to catch one of the black dancers (as that's my preference), one of the white dancers named Brooklyn was free. She was thick with blonde hair and I had two regular dances with her which were pretty good. After much waiting, one of the black dancers, Lauren, was available: medium build (thick in all the right places), very sweet and pretty, beautiful D-cup breasts. I did three dances with her--two regular, one topless--which were all good. Afterwards, I was hoping to make contact with the other black dancer, but I had just missed her: what seems to happen at All Star is that the dancers tend to sit at the tables with the patrons for a spell, so they're not constantly circulating.

So while I was waiting for black dancer #2 to get up from her table, I had noticed this stunning 20-something dark-haired Latina spinner with breasts ready to pop out of her outfit. And she noticed me, too! Colombiana was her name and I spent the rest of the night in the Man Cave with her for a number of topless dances--she didn't even have to ask regular or topless--we just knew! Was it six, seven songs? I didn't know and I didn't care. I had the best time in a club in years with Colombiana in control--she's that good, indeed, the complete package! Smart, sweet, gentle, beautiful, energetic. Incredible!

So it you're keen on lingerie-style clubs, a la Melrose Park-Stone Park, run, don't walk to All Star in McCook and (I hesitate to say this, wanting to keep her all to myself), look out for Colombiana! As she said, she's the only Colombian working there. (And now I see why folks with means visit Colombia proper.).

Pros: Cover charge and drink cost reasonable; beautiful dancers, some very talented indeed; a measure of safety (masks); full song tracks from the jukebox; $10 and $20 price structure means you can test the waters for not a lot of money.

Cons: Parking can be tight; license scanning; sometimes tough to get with the dancer you want if it's busy; no privacy partitions or couches in the Man Cave; no private rooms.

Verdict: solid alternative to the Mannheim scene, just 20 minutes south of the same; I'll be back for sure if only to spend more time with Colombiana!

Never see anything about the Admiral on this site. Must be too lame for most here. Since I hadn't been there in a long time and received an email with a half off coupon, I decided to take a look. I got there around 9 pm. The tables were socially spaced. Even with that, the place was not close to full. For all I know that might be the new normal for a Wednesday night. The regular door fee is now $28. There were maybe a dozen guys there. There were easily more girls than guys. Only a few guys were sitting near the stage. The stage was roped off a couple of feet away. It was close enough to drop money on without any girl-customer contact. There were easily more girls than guys so company would have been easy had I been interested. I rate the girls as average. Back 20 years ago, I remember a lot of Playboy quality. What I saw was not ugly but not like the old days. Girls on the floor were all masked. The masks stayed on when doing lap dances. Men still had the option of at the table or in the back for a more private location and a few more bucks. They still had private room specials. I did not indulge. There were various options, up to $150. I didn't stay long. I was mostly curious. Frankly, I would rather go to Manheim, though not that much of a strip club denizen. If things return to normal in the future, I think you will get more mileage for the buck on Manheim. I will say this. I actually felt sorry for the dancers on stage. With the place mostly empty, and the guys mostly dealing with company at their seats, hardly anyone was tipping the dancers.

Yea I was shocked that they didn't tip the stage dancers for the most part at the Admiral when I went there. They make it rain at all the clubs I've been outside the city.

Hate to ask this but does anyone have any concerns (or know of anyone) coming down w / covid after going to a club? Definitely getting the itch but have to admit having some reservations. I wouldn't intend on wearing a mask in private or at the table for that matter and certainly not if I could score extras.

I been going to 390 since they reopened. They don't make you wear mask at your table only to walk in. I've only gotten one dance maybe where girl wore mask but I didn't wear mine. The girls tell me it's up to them on how to proceed in the back but my usual don't wear mask and neither do I in dance. No mask in room at all. I got vaccine so I'm not concerned but I'm also single, younger guy who Live alone. They also do a good job of cleaning every booth and the stage every hr.

390 did change prices recently no more $20 dances in dayshift. They are $30 now again but song is longer than those short ass minute and a half they did before. Full nude and contact. Same price at nighttime. But billboard still has older price so YMMV maybe they will dip price if you complain and not a regular there I go during day crowd has been the same as always.

I was there that same night and pretty much have the same opinion. I was out with a big spender who paid for 30 minutes in the back, and there was pretty much no privacy. The curtains were kept 1/2 open so that the cameras could see everything, others going back would walk right past and see in. Like you said masks never came off during any part.

Thought the club was busier than normal for a Sunday.

Hi, Mexidan. I went last night, Tuesday night-Wednesday morning, and it seemed pretty busy then, too. I figured the middle of the week would be quiet, but I was wrong. Here's a rundown of my activities:

Arrived just after midnight, parked my car on the street nearby to save on valet parking: signs say parking is okay until 2 am. In the spirit of frugality, I had also printed a coupon for free admission from their website, which saves $10. Coat and hat check was required, which is free but I contributed to the tip jar on my way out. After I handed the cashier my coupon, a bouncer immediately said the main floor was packed, and I was forced to go to the VIP area upstairs, which wasn't what I wanted, but he was right: there were no free tables on the main floor.

Bought a pop, was sat near a mini-stage where Layla, a tall, petite African-American dancer with natural C cups was doing her thing. She was stunningly beautiful and I took her for a private dance: alas, this is what sucked about being upstairs: they were enforcing VIP pricing at $30 a song. Note that on Tuesdays it's $10 a song, topless (but technically it was past midnight, so I wouldn't have minded $20 a song). At those prices I only did two songs (first was topless, second was topless and bottomless), tipped Layla an extra $10 (as her performance was extraordinary), and got out of there. I then drove to Carl's Bar in Melrose Park, which I will report about in the Melrose Park thread.

Pros: strategic parking plus a coupon makes getting in free; felt safe with masks and all.

Cons: too packed at night, forced into VIP, would have had to leave early to move car.

Would I go back? Maybe on a Tuesday during the day (like right after they open), when the prices aren't in the stratosphere. If I was a true baller, I would've spent the whole night with Layla: she's that good!

I'm very cautious still. I'm staying away from strip clubs and strolls until I can get my vaccine shot.

In the summer and fall I went to same club 3-4 times. I never had COVID or got sick. Mask was off for all customers and dancers. Bouncers and bartender had it on at all times. I get being safe though. Keep your distance from other customers, wash your hands and enjoy those tits!

Went this past Sunday at 11 pm. Thought the club was busier than normal for a Sunday. Sat at the bar. Here are some observations.

1. Very solid lineup of girls. Also, Jenny (Mexican girl) is back working full time. She is definitely one of my favorite dancers there.

2. Masks mandatory during dances for both parties.

3. A lot of girls working here from out of town and staying in hotels nearby. Girls from Las Vegas, South Beach (Miami) and NYC say their clubs are so dead and that's why they are here.

4. Other Latin girls are definitely giving Mexican girls a run for their money there! There are currently 5 Cubans and one white Dominican girl working there regularly while they wait for their home markets to get busier. These girls were all hot to me!

Sunday's open until 3 am.

Better off on day shift as is more of a sure thing if you are looking.
