So, I've been racking my brain over this & it just hit me (I think). Was this the place just off Calumet in the middle of the block among a bunch of regular businesses? If so, I remember what an odd location for such an "interesting" place. The first time I went there & was quite surprised, it looked like any typical diner, bar / restaurant from the front. I do! When Mickey died, some of his relatives took over and built private booths. Mike (his son) stayed on but he looked terrible after Mackey died. Mike died a little while afterwards then the place closed and was turned into a Mexican restaurant. This place was the best!

I frequent 390 and Atlantis a lot and from what I heard Jimmy's was staying open the entire time during shut down and there was an incident in the place according to waitress and bartender at Atlantis don't know if they reopened since then.

Thanks for the update, Illini333. Between that and the Melrose Park shutdowns (leaving just Carl's Bar in Stone Park in that vicinity as the only place featuring ladies), the Chicagoland area is looking shabby in terms of strip club action--not that it's ever been stellar.

Trust me, you do not want to go to Ricky's. The AA girl talent may be great, but that is not a safe part of town, especially after dark.
