I certainly do not need politicians or talking heads on cable news to influence me or my opinions. I mean I find the fact that Dr Seuss and now maybe Curious George are being "cancelled" as utterly ridiculous. The unchecked cancel culture truly has run amok.

You care about nursery rhymes kids books. Got it. When you use catch phrases like "cancel culture" you give yourself away. Discussion over for me I really come get to get away from both sides of the political aisle honestly. And I got sucked in. Dammit.

I'm surprised some in here actually support the current culture. Let that sit for a minute. Because neither side likes using here. SMH. The do good life is so important that, blue lives matter racist that killed cops on 1-6 decry or hobby, along with the tree hugging social cops on the left that claim or hobby is trafficking. In theory, if not in practice, there are limiting principles in place for the police. They can do X but not why. Criminals don't recognize limiting principles. That makes them more frightening.

George makes a good point about the police. It's kind of amusing if you think about it. Here we are for years, having been worried about too much LEO enforcement. Now we have to worry about the bad guys because they are not worried as much about the police.
