One last little note. I too, like all sorts of music. I'm older, probably much older than most here and enjoy rock of all kinds. I concur that things are much quieter now. It's odd because Nashville has exploded. A little over 6 years ago, when I was hobbying regularly, it was excellent. I absolutely loved SBL, J-rock and their rotating cast were wonderful. Compared to today it was a golden age. There has been a calculated move to "virtual" experiences, which seem very lame to me (not to mention expensive).

The service itself has degraded significantly. I recall spending a leisurely hour with sweet, fun providers. We'd have time for pleasantries, maybe I could crack open a beer. This has empowered the worst elements of the population. Forums like this empower us. Our best tactic is to use forums like this to out bad providers and reward the good ones.
