LOL. It was bizarre. I mean it was the SAME ARTIST the whole time. And LOUD. Bad news is that I didn't leave happy; on the other hand I'm now a born-again Christian LOL.

Despite Gopher's best efforts I chose the wrong Relax on Kingston, being an out of towner. I had a 90 minute mediocre massage with the worst Christian music I have ever heard, and played too loudly at that.

As for people wanting to be something they're not, it could be a ploy to get someone interested in something more exotic and less vanilla. People get bored and want something different. On the other hand, you have white folks who are told that they are the problem in the world, or that they can't do certain things, or that they are boring and not interesting. White people can't jump, dance, blah blah blah. My sister actually married a guy who she thought was Cherokee. That was the story passed through the family. If you saw him, you would believe it. She did a DNA test on her daughter because they can get free college if they can prove 1/8 native, I believe it was, and the test came back part Jewish and part black. No Indian. In some cases, stories may have been created to explain a child's appearance and maybe it was cool to be part Indian but not something else. My 2 cents.

Posts: 1202I can tell if someone is Cherokee or not. Contrary to popular belief there is not that many Cherokees here, there are a few thousand people that are enrolled members in the Eastern Band in WNC, most Cherokees live in Oklahoma. To claim Cherokee you need to be an enrolled member of one of the three federally recognized tribes if you aren't you simply aren't Cherokee. No matter what granny told you.

I don't know why this provider feels it advantageous to advertise as part Cherokee, but the fact that she doesn't look like it doesn't mean she is not. I am at least 1/8 Native American (my great-grandmother was really a full-blooded Cherokee, and my father's father was melungeon, so I have additional Indian blood from there). However, I look distinctly like a regular Caucasian, honky, cracker, or whatever you want to call us. Except I get a really good tan.

Posts: 93Her number matches one previously used by Sarina "the Egyptian goddess" who has advertised on Rubratings and has been discussed on this forum. The pics do not appear to match however.

Posts: 1202I highly doubt she has "indigenous roots" for some reason large numbers of families have a false story that ggggg granny was a Cherokee, but 99% of those are fairy tales. Even famous educated people like Elizabeth Warren had her granny story proven wrong. That is the reason the real legitimate federally recognized tribes have such strict requirements to be an enrolled member--to keep out the fakes, even before the casinos they had wannabes trying get in. So my point if this woman is going to claim she is something she is not I would not trust her massage.

Posts: 1202She is not a Cherokee
No, but her claim of being "part Cherokee Indian" immediately turns me off as she is clearly a white woman and something is wrong with people that claim to be indian when they are not.
