Go to stdcheck.com for info on waiting periods, some STDs only need 2 days to be detected, some need 6 months. I recommend the ten test panel.

Health Dept will usually do the Common bacterial tests, not viral such as Hep A, B, & C or Herpes.

Abstain a while.

Accidents happen, don't freak out. Don't do anything sexual for a month (to protect yourself and your partner) then just go get tested. I recommend Oakland county health department on greenfield. It will literally cost you five dollars. Results will give you peace of mind, and only results will. That's all you can do, don't worry yourself to death.

Also I said wait a month to get tested because it often takes time for STD's to produce a positive accurate result. Getting tested immediately would likely give you a false positive.

I've always gone BBBJFS with my dates since November 1991. I demand the most pleasure for my money; that's all there is to it. Without bothering to look it up and going just off of memory, you're not far off from correct according to the CDC website. Chlamydia and gonorrhea are by far the most easily transmittable of the STD's. It can happen both vaginally and orally. Herpes apparently can be transmitted without any symptoms showing but it is rare. HIV has literally zero confirmed cases from oral (BJ) and the infection rate is way higher for the person receiving the semen internallyespecially if it was received anally (thought to be due to cuts and or small tears associated with stretching the anus too far for something it was never designed).

Plus there are a host of other STDs that don't show any outward symptoms right away like HPV and hepatitis but but their transmission rates are still far below the old school VDs.

If you're serious about educating yourself on this, definitely go to the CDC's website. It is pretty much the national authority on STD education.

I've been researching and following HIV since the '80's. It's a weird interest of mine since childhood.

First and foremost, HIV needs two openings to the bloodstream for transmission. Is it possible for you to get HIV from a BBBJ? Yes, there's always a chance, a small one but a chance. The reason it's so small is that a person's mouth heals very quickly from lacerations and abrasions. The mouth is genetically designed that way.

Back in the '90's, it was found that it takes 2 gallons of saliva to contract HIV, TWO GALLONS! Let that marinate.

If you guys are freaked out about it, you can take PREP to prevent HIV transmission. There are different forms of PREP, but you can see your doctor for more details.

You most definitely CAN get HIV from oral sex. Just like all of the other STIs that I know of. The odds are different, but definitely possible for transmission to go either way.
