A lot of the guys approach the girls on SA like they would any escort or UTR (that is, paying to get laid with zero strings attached). While that's certainly a valid approach, I prefer longer term arrangements that are pretty much indistinguishable from traditional dating. There's just no substitute for the attention, affection and enthusiasm you get from a super hot 20-something who is genuinely into you. Like you, I enjoy helping a hard-working girl reach her goals, and I've found that a little effort invested in the right girl can pay incredible dividends. I've had 3 long term arrangements since 2012. I'm still good friends with all 3 of them. The last one, the girl I was with for 4 years, she really was something special. Almost too good to be true. My experience was exactly like yours in that she was by far the best relationship of my life. We were 20 years apart but I've never been with anyone who was a more perfect fit and it's not even close. Toward the end we did talk about the possibility of staying together. But ultimately she decided she wanted to settle down with someone closer to her own age, and that was definitely the right choice for her (I am married). We shared a lot of great experiences together and we were a big part of each other's lives for quite a while. It was exactly what we both needed at the time. I'm certain she and I will be close for life.

I never expected my experiences to turn out so well. Of course, there were a few false starts, when you go out one or two times, and it's just not going to work. The DC area is like a gold mine. There were a lot of beautiful, intelligent and fun young women on SA up there. The expectations were no higher than here, and there a ton of them -- little Capitol Hill staffers, college interns working there, local girls who were in college, non-profit girls not making much money. Etc. Way before SA, I had moved there while finishing a graduate degree. I was working full-time doing consulting and then did a gig at one of the prestigious DC universities as an adjunct professor teaching one class and was 31-32 and married. Crap, there were some unreal girls beautiful, smart, etc. In my classes. There was always at least one if not two in each class that had the thing for the professor, but that is a very, very bad line to cross. I never flirted with them when they came in my office or up to me after class; had some light personal discussion to be friendly; but it was all business. I had one pretty much ask me out after the Fall semester during Christmas break. "What are you doing over the holidays, Dr. X?" "Just hanging here with the wife for Christmas, no real plans. " "Oh. I am going to be here over the holidays. Are you going to be free?" "Uhhhhh. I got to go Nicole someone came into my office (not really). Merry Christmas. Blah blah. " Shit man. I was a good boy though, and at least the upper head prevailed. I wasn't really tempted, since my wife was intelligent, smoking hot and fun just like those girls only 5 years older. LOL.

I've been back on SA for a few weeks, and it's really futile. I am 59, but can pull off 50, and I am sure that's a factor. I'm not desperate, and I'm mining for the little gem. I'd report on someone, if I actually had something meaningful to contribute. There's been some of the "smash and cash" girls, but I think anyone here who is on SA has probably been hit up by them; the scammers, etc. Some have already been mentioned on here.

I decided to deactivate for a little, and am in touch with couple who are not in a hurry. There's an app called Text Now. Create a gmail email account not linked to you. Download it, use the email account, and when it asks to use your contacts, say no. It's free, and allows texts and phone calls. When you want to not be bothered, but anyone who has that number, log out, or even delete the app. You can change your phone number every 15-20 days also, and while the app download can be associated with your phone, none of the calls, texts, etc will be as long as you delete app when you aren't using it. Works in USA and Canada, that is the only limitation.

I use Textfree on two of my older phones with two different #'s on wifi. You can call and text using the app.

2nd line has worked pretty well for me too. Same concept. I have like 3 numbers with different emails and just log in and out when needed. One thing I like to do is use one number to get any detailed info on a girl then use a second number a few days later to just book the appointment without speaking about any details. Just an extra precaution.

This is the exact way to do it. There are several times I've had a girl quote me one thing on one number then tell me something else on a different one. They give up their number so much they forget who their talking to half the time. This is also a good way to find out if they have just stopped replying to you and not everyone. By heading them from a different number if they reply you know they are ignoring you for whatever reason.
