I believe the issue is based on the general demeanor or attitude from that of a younger male. According to a few providers I have spoken with, many of them still need to grow up and the provider prefers not to tolerate the attitude. I've had no issues booking with white providers over the past 6 years, as you said it's all about the deamenor.
