There is an option on preferences to make your profile private, the only way a girl can see you is if you visit her profile while not premium. If your premium then they don't know you even visited them.

There's an app called Text Now. Create a gmail email account not linked to you. Download it, use the email account, and when it asks to use your contacts, say no. It's free, and allows texts and phone calls. When you want to not be bothered, but anyone who has that number, log out, or even delete the app. You can change your phone number every 15-20 days also, and while the app download can be associated with your phone, none of the calls, texts, etc will be as long as you delete app when you aren't using it. Works in USA and Canada, that is the only limitation.
