From my information, those people who were asked to voluntarily surrender their licenses were asked to do so because they acquired them fraudulently. In most cases, the company (s) that issued the certificate of completion for the educational and training requirements did so without providing any education or training. The companies were "paper mills" and once it got out that none of these people were properly trained, everyone who received a license by purchasing a "Certificate of Completion" from those certain firms was asked to surrender their license or, appeal the decision of the Board and provide evidence to the contrary. Most if not all simply agreed to surrender rather than bring attention to themselves. As far as any particular business staying open goes, they don't need a license provided they don't offer or use the word massage. Chinese Bodywork, reflexology and such don't require a license. The only reason they got licenses in the first place was 1) because they could simply buy a "cert of completion" without study, training or English proficiency and, 2) A license offers a veil of legitimacy.
These businesses, as are so many others, are struggling during the pandemic but overall jack joint owners profit handsomely as do the providers that work in them. Income of $1000-$2500 a week, per person, is not unusual for a are&T operation.

New to MA. Find my self around Muzzey from time to time. Does Crystal not have its own entrance? The place looks very inconspicuous, no boards nothing. I've seen a bunch of reviews on Crystal and decided to try it out as my first dream in MA. Has it shut down? Any updates?

Went to the place on Pond near DQ (I believe it's called Meini). Both ladies there looked well north of 40, but very pleasant. Linda, who I've seen before. Possibly at another location as well but can't remember. Took my temp and sanitized hands. Massage was very good, and not too oily. Some tease before flip, then very skillful HE. Didn't rush and took some direction as to what I liked. She let me pull out one of her cute B's, which I think are quite nice, especially for her age. The UTC roaming helped me get to the finish, and she didn't stop until I was empty. Very good technique, as many will just let go after a few seconds. Clean-up, bottle of water, and I'm done. Got the full hour. Tipped half a benjamin. Will be back, mainly because they are good at what they do and don't haggle.

Posts: 29CB and 1060 used to be own by Angela of CB until she sold it to the Angela of 1060. It's not uncommon for these business owners to buy and sell business without changing the legal ownerships.

So, CB and some other places in Waltham and beyond, were "supposed" to close on or about January 31, 2021. That is when both the owner-providers and the business, per public records, voluntarily gave up their state massage licenses. That step made the women and the businesses themselves, become unlicensed. No longer eligible to be open or provide services. Some of the women took a wait and see approach and reapplied to the state to try to get their licenses reinstated. The gears of the state grind slowly to re-review a renewed application in order to maybe re-license someone, but those same gears move swiftly when they want to close them down and take away their licenses. Some of the women / businesses have fought the state. Some of the businesses actually recently closed out their business corporation or LLC with the state. Like in the past, some of the businesses will rise from the ruins, and operate again under a new name. But the women who lost their required massage licenses, may never get re-approved by the state. Most of the massage places are doing business under a dba doing-business-as name. It is a maze, not easy to navigate, to identify how they are officially named. For instance, a licensed place with a sign out front calling it xyz bodyworks, could be officially named blue waterfalls.
CB, I believe, closed. But others indicate they are closed while they continue to operate. Thinking incorrectly that they can become invisible and have an ability to run a clandestine operation out in the open, and the state will not notice. I feel bad for a couple of the places and the women. They need the money just like we would. Some of the impacted providers, I believe, blindly trust some regulars. But the women kinda realize that guys will give reports on getting services from them on various websites, while they also realize that they clearly should not be operating at all. I myself hope that they do not get caught.
On another note, I agree with those who have stated that speculation that some places are owned by the same woman (specifically Eastern, 1060, CB, and/or 986) is incorrect. The owners of record for those places are "not" the same person or persons. Public records reflect that none of them are tied together via an owner name. One owner is in a distant Mass city, and has other locations there. I wish them all the best. Many of the managers/owners of places all know and keep in contact with each other. Tough business, tough job, with some nice women who have to put up with us sometimes demanding pain in the ass mongers.

I was a little surprised too on the pricing. I think its because they only do 30 min sessions it seems for the time being. But she offered BBFS for 130 but I skipped it for normal ending and left a 40 tip cause it was only 30 min. Maybe I was lucky with setting up appointment, paying in cash, and being very kind when they were dealing with the guy who crashed my session.

When I called and heard new girl coco I was intrigued and was hoping it was the coco from about 14-15 months ago but it was not. Last time I saw her was down at the place in Rockland and have not heard about her whereabouts since.

Accurate description of grannies here, and of good TS skills. The tip discussion is confusing. She wanted lower tips and offered more service because you had never been there before? Usually goes the opposite direction, . With better offerings if they know you. If you are an unknown customer and getting offered bbcip as an option, that suggests a monger community preceded you in plowing that field and leaving their legacy for you. The price seems low for this place that historically has haggled over prices and made the tip pout face when you gave them them the average going rate.

Good point, hadn't thought of it from that perspective. Maybe swinging makes for a great family, to each their own. I stand corrected.

Posts: 261If that is the same coco that used to be there, she was great. She hasn't been there in over a year I think. Maybe I should go and find out later this week.

It's important to note Angela will be in a new location, not Waltham, and it will not be called Cherry Blossoms.

Called ahead and was told new girl coco was there. Popped in and was met by an average looking 50+ yr old later found to be May. I asked to use the bathroom and saw coco in passing and although didn't get a good look she did not look great so I came back and was led to the room by may. I decided to roll the dice and gave her the money and laid down on the heated table and May returned to take care of me. I asked for soft and I must admit May provided an unreal soft tease for a good 20-25 minutes, she was very into it. She played around near the brown starfish but not really my thing. Finished me on all fours, great finish. Would return because May was very pleasant, enthusiastic and grateful for her tip, a rarity these days. The heated table is nice at the beginning but I was sweating by the end. All in all a good time and worth a visit.
