If you look at the shops on 99 from about 128th (Everett city limits) to 164th (Lynnwood city limits) all of them but the Lucky Star place by the Tesoro are Korean and have been around for many years, in some cases decades. They are all there because since they are in unincorporated Snohomish County for whatever reason the Snohomish County Sheriff isn't that interested in busting those places and shutting them down. Shops in Everett or Lynnwood proper, by comparison, only last a few years at best (and sometimes just months) before being shut down.

Airport massage (on the South side of 128th, also outside Everett city limits) and Tokyo Spa (on 164th by I-5) are also Korean, have been there for many years, and are also (surprise) in unincorporated Snohomish County.

Just had an amazing time on 15th ave just north of Madison. This shop isn't listed where I usually look, so I was surprised. Anyone else tried this place? It's kind of tucked away and easy to miss. Looks like an apartment. Not a ton of privacy (curtains) but also pretty small. I only saw one table so.

I didn't see a name on the place so I asked her what the name is. She said "Asian Massage Parlor" LOL, how original?

Anyway, the usual $40 half hour $60 hour and 2 for covered everything, super cute girl, and decent parking in cap hill since everyone stopped hanging out after Chaz. Definitely way cleaner than the Chinatown shops. Nice big clean bathroom.

Ever since Kent shut down all the AMPs by revoking their biz licences, the AMP scene in South King County has been a wasteland. The Renton AMPs seem to be big upsell from old, chubby, grumpy mamasans. Instead of the Renton AMPs getting an influx of talent from the Kent shops (I miss those Vietnamese hotties at Body Craft) it seems all the Kent ladies went elsewhere. The only reliable place I've found in the area is "Renton Spa" (off exit 7). It's a decent massage with HJ ending only. The ladies aren't young or hot, but they're not old or ugly either.

My ideal situation would be a good massage + BBBJ + a provider that is attractive enough that I don't have to close my eyes and pretend.

To echo what others are saying, I am also located in the south end (actually live in Kent), and the closure of the AMPs in Kent sure was a bummer. Trying to find a young, attractive masseuse is difficult enough, and for one that also offers at least a BBBJ is just about impossible. There are 2 places in Auburn (not Dream of China Spa) which are OK, but nothing special. Similarly, but somewhat further, the AMPs in Milton are also so-so.

I'm in the south end and yeah ever since the kent raids it's been a barren wasteland. I have to go to Fed Way for anything decent and decent being a super loose term. Like you Aussie a good massage and a BBBJ would be great and I've only been able to get that at crown and one spot in fed way but I feel like it's so hit and miss. Most girls over here in the south end are not young either. The girls get rotated a ton as well so it's hard to sometimes get a beat on a hottie. I wish Shirley did more in terms of menu.

That's what I've found as well. It's mostly hit or miss with AMPs in general however South King County is almost entirely miss. I know renton spa and it's okay I guess but nothing special. Unfortunately it's probably the best one in that area.

Sounds good. But I disagree with your statement about AMPs in Chinatown. I've been to 2 of them recently (scroll down below to see my recent review of Reflection Spa), and they were clean. Also, bathrooms were fine. And the gals were not bad looking, and some what young.
