I have been reading this forum for while to learn how the SA scene works. I am thinking about dipping my toe in. Because it costs so much to get set up I am wondering if folks on the board can answer a few questions to help me decide if it is worth it for my situation. Typically how much of the details do you work out with the lady before you meet for the first time? I know manners and small talk count for a lot but in theory the SD and SB all know why they are on SB. When connecting online how much introductory small talk is customary before you get to the point? How typical is it to do meet and greet first? I live in the city and my neighbors know me pretty well. One thing I would worry about is if things go bad the lady knows where you live. Do you usually have the lady come to your place? It is important to never talk about money on Seeking. Get onto text as soon as possible. Any mention of money using the Seeking chat platform risks you getting booted off (with no refund) for promoting prostitution. Yes, we all know why we are there, but you can't say it. Lots of girls are reluctant to go to chat on another platform (girls get lots of scammers, just like the guys do), so you may have to save actual money talk for a M&G. But it really sucks to get to a M&G and find that she expects $5k per month or calculates her PPM by the hour. So if you can at least get basic needs and expectations out of the way in chat it will save you some time.

I always want to chat a bit online -- even before the COVID stuff -- to make sure that scheduling a M&G is even worth my time. Things like what are they expecting from a relationship? Is intimacy even an option (lots of platonic or online only nowadays). Are they looking for an allowance or a PPM situation? What kinds of interactions are they interested in outside of intimacy (trips? Outdoor activities? Dining? Netflix & chill?) That can all happen at the M&G, but if you clear it up in chat you can save yourself an awkward coffee or lunch date. With COVID precautions, you could do this over video chat, but I'm old fashioned and I like to have a real face-to-face M&G.

Beyond the details of the arrangement, I also want to know what kind of a person she is. Will we get along? Do we enjoy the same music, tv, movies? Do we share the same interests or values? (Or do you even care about that if you are fucking a hot 20 year old?) I once suggested a first date at a local book fair, followed by drinks. Her response was "Books? What you you want to buy books for? Are you still in school?" I noped right out of that one.

How typical is it to do meet and greet first?

I always do an unpaid M&G first (I'll throw in $20 for gas, babysitter, parking, uber, depending on the situation). Never ever pay anything in advance. One common scam is for girls to claim they had car trouble or ran out of gas on the way to see you and ask for help. If you send them money, you'll never see it or them again.

The M&G is important for all the things I mentioned above. Is this someone you want to spend time with (and vice versa). How much support does she expect, and in what form? What will you get in exchange? Sometimes, if the M&G goes well you can set up a follow-up date or even continue the M&G in a more intimate setting. But don't expect it. It's a job interview, not the first day of work.

I prefer the M&G to be at a bar, just so I know she is over 21. Don't be afraid to ask to see her I'd if you are unsure.

That's up to your (and her) comfort level. Some guys never have the SB come to their house -- always a hotel. But of course that adds $100 to the cost of every date. If that's going to be the case, be sure to include that in your allowance discussion. A lot of SBs complain that the guy promised her $X but after they met up he gave her less because he had to get a hotel. That's scummy bullshit, in my opinion. It's guy who pull shit like that who make it harder for the honest guys.

Some SBs never want to be seen in public with their SDs (either they are embarrassed to be seen out with an old guy, or are just afraid of being seen by friends or family). Some SBs will host at their place, but if she has family, roommates, neighbors she may not. Same goes for you.

I live alone and don't care what my neighbors think, so I have no problem having girls come over. There have been times when I wished a girl didn't know where I lived, but that's a risk I'm willing to take.
