IMHO, henrico is good area. East part could be little shady, still better than Chamberlain or Bells Rd, west henrico is great. In Midlothian you will find good hotels and bad motels, it just depends which part.

Can a RVA local let me know where are some of the spot we should avoid for the hobby?

I know I have heard Henrico county in general is bad, so we should always avoid or are there certain okay spots?

Recently there was a provider told me she was on Chamberlyane Ave, I had to googled a bit, and apparently it's a pretty dangerous area? Any other place like that we should definitely avoid?

Especially this time of year, I wear large leather jacket. None of them know if I am packing or not. Regardless of area, walk with regard. That is, don't appear nervous or timid, know where you are going. Have an appointment at 4? Be there at 3. Scope out the area, have a plan for different situations. Be the bad ass you are not, they don't know. I know there is more, but I have a headache so I'm done. Basically it is all about planning.

Personally I don't mind henrico. I frequent glenside area hotels and ones behind hooters. I don't go near midlo for reasons I live close and too much foot traffic goes on. I've seen stickup boys waiting on side of shell for right target. Chester was a go to last year but I've noticed more and more LEO hanging around hotel by hooters. Don't mind commerce just keep head on swivel at red roof always some clowns hanging outside. As always keep head up and if don't feel right trust your instincts and leave. Hope that helps. Be safe.

I would say I'm situationally wary of Henrico. Henrico notels, pass, but three star+ hotels don't give me pause.

I also despise the Midlothian Turnpike area by Roses. Beggars, "boyfriends," as well as an open Silk Road out there aren't the type of things that make me feel comfortable and secure. I don't necessarily feel threatened but somebody's periodically on the cusp of being busted there.

To the guy who asked, I personally am not a fan of some parts of Southside at any time of the day, like the Manhattan area. It might be safe, but I don't have the experience to support that or to combat my assumptions.
