Especially when the weather is good, I like to park a good half block to a full block away on a different street and walk over with only my keys and the exact gift amount. Some people even suggest hiding the key using a magnet under the car. Or using key-less entry.

I've met many providers that are simply looking to see you prior to your visit. Maybe they're seeing if you're in a squad car, or there's one nearby. Maybe they're trying to see if you're a troll. Maybe it IS a setup. That's always something to be watchful of.

I've had many situations where a girl would say a place, check me out, then tell me the real place, across the street. Most of which ended well for me. Any time I've had shady crap go down. I knew it in my gut and did it anyway, because often, we're stupid.

As for location of parking. I've often been asked as they're going to go open the door on that side. All of this can be legit- It's the overall situation I try to gauge by. I had one in East HFD at a not so common location that I bailed on. I got into the parking lot, they weren't ready told me they were almost there. I was told 'ok, just got into my room XYZ, come on over' -- and from my vantage point, I knew nobody had 'just got there' -- Sent a 'no thanks, not interested in being jumped today. ' And off I went.

As for Lori, I've seen her. I had a delay as well, but hell, It's rare any of them are on time for anything in their lives. She was fine for me, but nothing to write home about. I'd write it off to 'didn't click' but as with anything, YMMV.

For anyone I see, I let them know that I'll text when near or parked. When there, I ask for the building and or room number. If I get any nonsense about where I parked or what I'm driving, I'm out of there pronto. I don't need instructions to find their room. There's no magic in that.
